The doctor derm was phenomenal, great bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The doctor would receive 6 stars, unfortunately the front desk receptionist was extremely rude and would receive at most 2 stars. When I entered she was curt after not being respondant. Upon exit I asked her questions about parking validation and my prescription and her immediate response was rolling her eyes. I understand having a bad day but I dont think that should be taken out on the patients.

They were good with communication. The thing is they didn’t get rid of the problem I had with my skin. For example I had a cyst on my neck shoulder area. I asked for it to be removed. They drained it instead making the possibility of it to come back and it did. I had to get it removed from another dermatologist and they did an awesome job.

I went to this doctor many years ago and I spent around $2500-$3000 and the results were unnoticeable. I went to him because I live close by and I was still working and wanted to look my best. It was like he did nothing. He didn’t do what I wanted and didn’t address my concerns. So instead of wasting my money learned to live with what God gave me and be thankful I still can walk, talk, and think without assistance.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kitagawa’s for nearly 15 years, both for medical and cosmetic dermatology, and I’m surprised I haven’t written a review before this. Historically, I have been treated for teenage and adult acne with great success. Recently, I’ve had a number of Vbeam and PicoSure laser treatments for pigmentation and anti-aging that have been highly effective. The medical assistants, especially Jocelyn :), are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Jocelyn has helped me build a daily skincare regimen of SkinBetter, SkinCeuticals, AND over-the-counter products. I trust her expertise and she practices what she preaches. I highly recommend Dr. Kitagawa’s office!
