Very impressed with everyone at the office! The doctor we saw was very knowledgeable with a friendly demeanor that put my teenager at ease. They gave us options on what steps we could take next. Also an assistant discovered a mole in my sons back that needed to be removed and was so good, my son wasn’t even nervous or feel it being numbed.

I had my initial appointment today at Suncoast Skin Solutions with Dr. Bernhardt. I have had a severe full body rash from using an immunotherapy for my cancer. The immunotherapy worked very well on my cancer, but one of the side effects is a rash and I have been fighting it for eight months since I stoppd the immunotherapy. I am cancer free, but I have a terrible rash that has been difficult to treat. I was recommended to Dr. Bernhardt by my MOHS surgeon and I’m so glad that I went to see him. I was so impressed with his knowledge about my situation, mine is a difficult case not seen often. I brought my daughter who is an oncology nurse for 26 years and has been trying to help me along for the last eight months and she was very happy with him because she was on the on same page with Dr. Bernhardt. He was very pleasant and very helpful and spent a lot of time with me explaining everything to me and asking me many questions and interested in any questions I might have. I felt like he truly was interested in my case. He started me on a new medication and I am hopeful that this will be a good thing for me. Of course he has other options should I not get a response from this medication, but my daughter said this is a very good recommendation , something she had been looking at as well! He has a wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel very comfortable! The staff was wonderful and very helpful and I was so happy that I found him and Suncoast Skin Solutions! I would 100% highly recommend Suncoast Skin Solutions and Dr Bernhardt! Tricia

Extremely easy to make a new patient appointment for a mole patrol check. Quick, easy, friendly check in when I arrived. Barely any wait time to be called back or to see the doctor. Dr. Hurt’s friendly manner immediately put me at ease. She was efficient and thorough and explained things clearly. I already have my appointment scheduled for next year’s check up.

Very well run and professional- Dr Michael Bernhardt is just amazing and gives you the time needed to answer questions and come up with solutions. The whole medical team is great, the reception team was efficient and my wait time in the lobby was under 10 min to be seen. Would recommend highly.

I just had a shocking appointment with Dr. Bernhardt at this location. I took my 12 year old daughter in for a follow up appointment with him to discuss some alternate treatments for her perorial dermatitis. He was rude, insulting, brash and unprofessional saying that I came in with my fists up and ready for a fight. I asked him what gave him that impression because I was there for his help. It was absolutely shocking. I’ve never been treated by a doctor like this before. I would never recommend anyone to go to this dermatologist. His staff was lovely, and I really loved the PA that came in prior to Dr. Bernhardt. Unfortunately, his behavior overshadowed many of the good things about our visit.
