This review should have been written right after I was seen over two years ago, but I was a little in shock over my experience. The PA was nice but whoever the nurse that roomed me and gave my injection did not follow hygiene practices. She took my health history on the IPad while the whole time wearing gloves. She then proceeded to give me a numbing injection and did not change her dirty gloves or wash her hands. I should have stopped her right then and there but I did not. This is why I choose to not reschedule my follow up that you called to reschedule.

My experience here was top notch. Noah (the assistant) and Alex (the PA) were very kind and happy to answer my questions. My examination was very professional and I was made to feel comfortable in what could have otherwise been a very embarrassing situation. Noah has a very light touch as none of the injections of the numbing agent were painful. Alex also has a very light touch as none of the scraping he took was painful either. I will happily refer anyone in need of dermatological assistance to this wonderful practice. Thank you for making my visit so pleasant.

Alex and the crew have taken care of my mother and I with the upmost respect and care. Alex knew exactly what my diagnosis was when Advanced Dermatology misdiagnosed me and treated for 2 years with no light at then end of the tunnel. Alex caught my mom’s skin cancer and was very respectful on how he’s treating the diagnosis.

I have had a terrible experience with the ladies who work in this office. The receptionist has been kind and polite. The lady in the lab has been rude, condescending, acted like I was lying about what she said to me. I was referred to this office by my primary to have a squamous cell carcinoma removed. They told me I had to have a full body scan before they would remove this one. Ok, I came in for full body scan. When I arrived, I was asked why I was there, I told them. They said, oh no, you don't have to have a full body scan. At which time I insisted they check several spots. That was May 22, 2020. As of today, June 19, I still don't have the results of those biopsies. When I call, the lab lady is rude like she is someone better than others 😂. I never met the doctor who sounds wonderful, but I never will because of the rudeness in his staff. There's more, I just have time to put it down.

No surprise. I wasn't a fan, either. I'm sure Dr. Kantor is great, but I never saw him. I saw both PAs and I would not recommend either one. And yes, as others said, this office (the Jax one) is a disaster. And if you cancel an appointment they don't even have a record of it and call you and ask you where you are, rudely. The PAs, either one of them, did NOT do a FULL skin exam on me and it was not cool that I would even have to ask. They could miss a deadly melanoma and you would not know it until it was too late. Also, the scar on my back that I did receive from one I let them take out is NOT ok. And it's very visible. Then another mole they wanted to remove wasn't even necessary, according to my new dermatologist. Very disappointing, to say the least. I'd call Mayo if I were you.
