From the moment I walked in the office I felt very comfortable. First off I appreciate it the fact that they got me in very quickly which is not been my experience at other dermatologist. I was concerned about an issue that was covered by insurance but I also wanted more info for some other problems I'm having with my skin. Not only did they sit and listen to my concerns they were able to handle it right there on the spot. Some things on my face that I never liked have finally disappeared! My doctor was very gentle and her assistant was extremely knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back and continue with my treatment. I definitely recommend this practice to anybody.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Lack of Care, Empathy, and Professionalism To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the care and service I received at your office. As a patient, I expect to be treated with professionalism, respect, compassion, and empathy. Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly short of those expectations. During my interactions with your office, I felt that my concerns were not adequately heard or addressed. The lack of empathy demonstrated by both the staff and healthcare providers left me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a patient. Healthcare is not only about providing medical treatment; it is also about ensuring patients feel supported, respected, and cared for during what can often be stressful and vulnerable situations. In addition, communication was inadequate, and there appeared to be little effort made to address my concerns or provide reassurance. Rather than feeling like a patient receiving quality care, I felt like an inconvenience. This experience has caused me to lose confidence in the level of patient-centered care your practice claims to provide. I believe every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. I hope this letter serves as an opportunity for your office to evaluate its approach to patient care, staff interactions, and communication practices to ensure future patients do not have similar experiences. I get threads done and have always been very satisfied. Staff are very professional and nice. Dr is excellent. Do it once a year, it helps me stay away from having a face lift.

When you visit a new doctor, what you hope for most is that they have the ability to correctly diagnose your problem. I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Sanjiva Goyal of Coastal Dermatology, who not only demonstrated great accuracy in identifying a condition that had persisted since February, after several unsuccessful treatments, but also stood out for his professionalism and genuine compassion. Both the doctor and the entire clinic staff consistently showed patience, kindness, and a willingness to listen, answer questions, and clearly explain every aspect related to my condition. I was extremely satisfied with the care I received, and just two days after starting the prescribed treatment, I began noticing positive results. A highly recommended physician for his efficiency, professionalism, and outstanding care for his patients.

I would give less than 1 star if I could. I checked into my appointment 10 minutes early and still sat waiting 20–25 minutes past my appointment time while multiple people who checked in after me were called back first. When I finally went to the counter to ask what the delay was, the staff was rude, dismissive, and tried telling me I never checked in at all instead of simply explaining the situation. This was honestly the final straw after my last two appointments there being an absolute joke. I repeatedly explained that the medication they prescribed was not working, and instead of listening or discussing other options, I was told I had to continue using it for at least 6 months before they would consider trying something else. Every appointment felt like nothing more than paying a $60 copay for someone to click “send refill” to the pharmacy without actually listening to me as a patient. Terrible communication, rude front desk staff, and zero concern for patient care. Completely disappointed with Coastal Dermatology.
