THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND PROMPT My time is valuable to me, and when I come in and they are ready for me within one or two minutes it is so helpful. On top of that, they really listen to the patient and ask cogent questions that solicit helpful feedback. They don't sluff it off and say well see you in 6 months and hope for the best. True diagnostic and helpful treatment plans are developed along with the patient. Highly recommend

Originally I had left feeling a bit disappointed with the experience and rushed appointment. However, I do believe that the overall environment of the office was great. The front desk and the nurse who brought me back to the room were very kind. Dr. Lam was very nice, however, I do wish there was more time with her in the room. It seemed a bit rushed, but I understand she is also very busy. I received two different gels for my face to use for hormonal acne. Me and my husband are planning on another baby soon and appreciate that Dr.Lam did not want to start anything orally that would not be safe. All in all, I would give 5 stars for the overall experience.

back in 2019 I came to Lam Dermatology for small bumps on my forehead that no matter how much picking or skincare products I tried, would never go away! They prescribed me tretinoin, and it worked so well that my skin was pretty clear up until two months ago. When I realized my annoying forehead acne had continuously grew worse, I scheduled an appointment and got it in no time. She received me a lower hybrid level, similar to what I had before. She told me it would take up to 3 months for full effects, so i should see clearing hopefully by summer. When I tell you I am nearly 2 weeks out from that last appointment, and my skin has cleared up SO much! She works wonders!! I was afraid I was going to have to accept my skin was just moody and with aging it would come and go. However my new prescription acne gel is amazing. Side effects are minimal and the results so far have been worth it. I cannot say enough on how pleased I am with Lam Dermatology!

I had gone here many months ago just for very temporary treatment as both my usual provider and another whom I was referred to (that I’m now seeing simultaneously with my original clinic for different treatments) was booked out for a few months. To be frank, they’re fairly inferior to other dermatology clinics in Oklahoma. There isn’t anything of significance to really note—it’s just the few times I had visited, it was just an overall subpar experience. They are very quick to schedule with—only a few days out for their PAs—even the MD was scheduled out only 1-2 weeks. I feel as though I can understand why it is so easy to book with them, compared to other clinics (with even more providers) who are scheduled months out for current patients—much longer for new patients (12+ months). To explain vaguely, I had came to inquire about a specific medication that would be not for necessity but to improve a minor concern with my skin. The PA wasn’t familiar with it and so she had consulted with the MD. The MD explained the prescription is typically given to patients with more severe cases of the problem I was wishing to address—which is absolutely understandable, however, I would like to mention that since then, I’ve met with my usual dermatology providers, have started the medication, and have noticed beyond great results. Why I specifically mention this although I have no problem with their medical decision making, is because the PA said verbatim “we focus more on the medical side of dermatology, not cosmetic.” This goes without further commentary. Ironically, they also offer a variety of facial treatments (e.g. facials, lasers, needling, etc.) Another thing, I’m not quite sure why—as others have also mentioned in their reviews—I believe they’re using different diagnostic and appointment codes—I’ve never and still have not ever been met with an additional needed payment for any of my appointments despite having the same treatment both at my usual dermatology clinic and my new one I’m seeing simultaneously. I’m not sure why I had additional charges here. Anyways, I would avoid this clinic unless you have some more acute need such as wanting to check out a suspicious lesion or whatnot, and being unable to schedule for a date no less than a few weeks out at another clinic.

The staff - starting with Makayla on the phone - then to Lupita at the front desk and Gina the MA - you could not find better anywhere. These ladies are absolutely beyond wonderful. Patient, super friendly, truly kind and understanding. This was my 1st visit to Dr. Lam and because of how amazing they were - I've already scheduled my next visit.
