Dr. David Carey and his entire staff are amazing—professional, knowledgeable, caring, and always willing to take the time to answer questions and address concerns. From the moment you walk in, you are treated with kindness and respect. While it can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment right away, they are absolutely worth the wait. The quality of care and attention you receive is outstanding, and it’s clear that patient care is their top priority. If you’re looking for excellent dermatology care, High Desert Dermatology and Dr. Carey are the best!

Dr. Carrie and all the staff are amazing. They are very professional, but also very caring and treat every person that enters with the compassion they deserve. They are espectful and knowledgeable. The office is very clean and inviting. I know I am in a safe place when I enter, and I will get my treatment properly, and leave very happy. If you are looking for a great dermatologist. This is the place to go!!

I had a great experience at High Desert dermatology. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. Dr. Carey is professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I felt well cared for and never rushed. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent dermatology care.

High Desert Derm has the most compassionate staff I’ve encountered at any derm clinic in NM! Although they are booked out pretty far (like every clinic in ABQ), they never rush any appointments and made sure to get me in when I had a concerning spot. Dr. Carey and his MA are always so wonderful and personable at appointments, and a friend who is also a patient at High Desert had the same experience!

Our entire family is treated by Dr. Carey and his amazing staff at High Desert Dermatology. We have been patients in his practice for over 10 years and have always been treated professionally and respectfully by he and his entire staff; from the wonderful ladies at the front desk to his extremely attentive and responsive PA’s. Dr. Carey cares about each patient and spends the time at every appointment to make you feel like your concerns are important and you understand the plan and steps moving forward. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Carey to anyone that is looking for a dermatologist.
