Epiphany Dermatology gives you a very happy and pleasant vibe when you first walk in the door due to the friendly and bubbly receptionist who helped me through the “Newbie” process. Dr. Warnakula was very pleasant and dealt with my issues professionally and was very receptive to all my questions. Love this place! It was worth the 7 month wait! LOL

This review is only applicable to the Rio Rancho location, specifically Dr. Krista Warnakula and her team. Now I admit, it was a struggle when obtaining our initial appointment as they were booking several months out. It is frustrating and upsetting to have to wait for care however it is not atypical in the state of NM; this is how ALL medical specialists are booking appointments. As much as it felt long to wait, we were extremely pleased that we did! The entire team in RR are kind, professional and attentive. The office is clean, warm and inviting from the time you walk in; the receptionist is greets you with a smile upon entering and is personable and sympathetic to our needs. The team is responsive, prompt and most of all, Dr is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She took the time to listen to our concerns and explained a treatment plan clearly. Her team promptly called in prescriptions and now that my husband is an established patient, in her care, there is little to no wait time to be seen. We typically visit in the mornings and have always been promptly seen with little to no wait... perhaps that has to do with the time of day we visit but very happy with every aspect of this location! Epiphany Dermatology came highly recommend by our hematology/oncology team and we couldn't agree more!

I needed to make an appointment for me and my friend and Krista the receptionist was so kind and awesome. She got an appointment for me and my partner on the same day as we are coming from out of town. Great office with a great staff. Thanks Krista!

I had an excellent experience at Epiphany Dermatology in Rio Rancho with Krista Warnakula, PA. Krista was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen and explain my treatment options clearly. The entire staff was friendly, efficient, and made me feel comfortable from check-in to checkout. The clinic was clean and well-organized, and appointments ran on time. I’m very happy with my care and would highly recommend Krista and the team to anyone seeking dermatology services.

I felt that the staff especially the front desk were lovely and it was very easy to make an appointment, but the doctor seemed like he couldn’t wait to get out of the appointment and barely glanced at my skin. He really doesn’t have a good bedside manner, which isn’t that uncommon but I feel like in this type of situation asking questions or listening to the patient would be helpful in diagnosis. Then they sent different prescriptions than what told me they would send to the pharmacy, and when I reached out to ask questions about it, it felt like the medical staff were annoyed by my questions and were rude about the prescriptions. It also took them a very long time to respond. I cancelled my follow up appointment due to the issues I experienced. Maybe for other types of skin issues this would be a better experience for you.
