Emeraldprops1 7 months agoDr. Suraj Reddy, M.D. failed to meet a standard care in his practice, in the role of physician-led medical team. There was negligent protocol and ineffective communication on the part of P.A. Sabrina Johnson as well as another member of the staff. I was not informed of abnormal pathology. In fact I was phoned by a medical assistant that my biopsy was negative and I should just maintain bi-annual visits. But when I found out about the findings in the pathology report many weeks later, I immediately requested an excision, as recommended in the report. As it turns out, the presence of residual disease on pathological examination of the specimen submitted after excision confirmed the medical necessity of complete excision. The failed communication summarized above represents a clear failure to meet standard of care, and posed the risk of serious harm. 11-29-25: My name is Dan Rich and I have no intention to hide my identiy. It is insulting to suggest I made harrasing calls. The only calls I made were to obtain information and schedule appointments. Further, I would think this provider is responsible for the conduct of a PA working under them.
Oban Lambie 2 months agoDr. Suraj Reddy, M.D. has a fantastic bedside manner, was raised here in NM, and is clearly an extremely smart and attentive doctor. I feel very fortunate to be his patient.
Kathy Jesionowski a year agoI would have liked to have given them zero stars, but you have to give at least one in order to write a review. Upon first meeting Dr Reddy at Dermatology of New Mexico, he immediately did not have a kind compassionate bedside manner. I explained by concern regarding my anxiety disorder when he decided I needed surgery. He did not seem to think that was important, completely dismissed it. nor was he willing to sedate me in any way. When I told him I would take my own medicine before I come, he made it very difficult for me to do that having me sign a form that absolves him of all responsibility for anything that could or may happen as a result of me being sedated before surgery and this was on my neck mind you. He expected me to come back and to sign the form the day before surgery, so I went the day before surgery to sign the form, following an 8:00 call to the clinic to tell them I would be there before lunchtime could they please have the form ready for my signature. I get there, the form is not ready, and the person responsible for getting it ready was about to go to lunch. I arrived at 11:15 and her lunch hour starts at 11: 30. But the entire staff was much more concerned about their lunch hour than their patient. Also, most importantly, she expects me to sign the form without ever reading it on her tablet. So I asked to speak to her manager, and she leads me to the surgeon. Doctor Reddy, who is also either already on his lunch hour or getting ready to go to lunch, and he actually had the audacity to defend her. That's when I knew I certainly did not want him cutting on me knowing that his patients are the least of his concern. I have since found a much kinder caring clinic where the entire staff is concerned about the patient above all else, as it should be. I do not recommend Dr Reddy or this clinic.
paul calvert 3 years agoI have been going to Suraj Reddy for about 5 years for routine check-ups. Since another dr found and removed an early melanoma 20+ years ago, I have seen multiple dermatologists for check-ups. I respect dr Reddy for his knowledge and good advice. The office runs efficiently and I have had no problems.
Robert Mcintosh 4 years agoExcellent treatment and knowledge held within the Dr.s and staff here at this office. Even though they wear masks and protective gear for your safety, anyone can tell that they are still smiling as well as dedicated to help their patients. Bravo
