M.C. Rowley 2 months agoI’ve been a patient at this practice for over 10 years. The practice started to go downhill when Dr Walters left in 2021. I was treated like a new patient, however, I was fortunate to get Dr Chang as my new provider. He is an outstanding physician. I had an appointment at the end of this month (made a long time ago) and was notified that Dr Chang was no longer seeing patients and only doing surgery. I again was treated like a new patient and was scheduled to see a PA in 2 1/2 months later. I was told that one of their providers accepts Medicare but does not accept Medigap multi plans as a Medicare supplement. I discovered that this is incorrect as the law specifically states that if the provider accepts Medicare they have to accept all Medicare supplement plans. 5 stars for Dr Chang and 1 star for the practice.
Jesse Heibel 2 months agoBE AWARE. I confirmed twice, both before my appointment and on my way out the door, that a basic annual exam was completely covered by my insurance and I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. Exam was 10 minutes long, nothing concerning, then on my way. I've now been hounded for over a year with the clinic claiming I owe $110 for a 10 minute visit which they confirmed twice was completely covered by my insurance. And they wonder why no one goes to the doctor anymore. If you hate surprise billing, avoid at all costs.
Joni Gaulden 5 months agoI have the worst skin problems, but I get the best care from Megan and all of her staff, in fact I call them my girls. The whole team from the front desk Checkin, to everyone in the back are amazing. I want to add Savanna from the Checkin to my list of girls. I was having trouble getting a call to PA Megan, and Savanna totally took care of it. SAVANNA welcome to my list of girls. Also side note, I started my journey with the clinic when it was on Gibson and I needed a MOHS procedure. It took me along time to become a full on dermatology patient with them. The wait is really no different than any other specialty medical care practice. See other dermatologist in the meantime, but keep trying, it's so worth the wait!
Susie Lonsinger 7 months agoHad my first visit this week to remove some basal cell carcinoma on my face. From the smiling caring receptionist who reassured me I was in good hands, that helped relieve some anxiety I was having. Every single person that made contact with me was genuinely caring and concerned about my well being. Anne and Dr Davis were THE BOMB!!! They reassured me, were loving towards me, I really did feel like I was in good hands! They removed the 2 areas on my face, and now I am free and clear of cancer. I can't express my gratitude enough for this wonderful place being there for me! I was refused service due to my insurance in the closer Texas facilities. They refused to take my Affordable Care Act Molina insurance. When I talked to them at DSCCNM They said, NO PROBLEM! All you'll have to cover is any copays you might have. We've got you! And Damn straight they did! Bless these people! Dr David Davis did my procedure, he was so wonderful, kind, caring, held my hand when I cried, with gratitude. You'll be in good hands with these kind loving people. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME!!!!! ❤
Kim Serrano 8 months agoA month ago I had my second skin cancer surgery at this clinic but this time with a different doctor, Dr. Chang. I found him and his assistant to be very friendly, helpful, explaining everything they were doing which helped me relax quite a bit. He even called the next day to check on me. My first surgery in 2021 was more intense, more painful and although the assistant was very sweet I had a different doctor who left me feeling highly uncomfortable and stressed. That is the reason for a 4 star rating. If both had been done by Dr. Chang, I would give them a 5 star rating. I highly recommend Dr. Chang!
