Dr. Meggan Newland is excellent. She’s extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Very kind and has excellent bed side manner. She doesn’t make me feel dumb/silly if I ask questions and genuinely cares about her patients. I’ve been seeing her for several years now. Although it can be difficult to get into for new patients, it is worth the wait. Truly, there aren’t enough dermatologists in the area. She’s a gem and Saint Luke’s is VERY lucky to have her. Her partners Dr. Emily Ochoa, Dr. Scott Ravis and the new PA Sarah are all excellent as well. Highly recommend. Thanks doc!

Dr. Newland is so thorough and knowledgeable. I’ve been her patient for years. I see her for cosmetic procedures as well as annual skin checks. She is so responsive with questions or concerns and always so friendly and down to earth. I wouldn’t see or trust anyone else with my skincare. She’s just the best!!

I was a patient of Dr. Newland and couple of years ago. I had been getting treatment for awhile and had praised her each time I had an appointment. That all changed when I saw her for 7 minutes and I’m pretty sure I was scheduled for the usual time. I had a very painful growth appear on my forehead the day before. She barely glanced at it told me that it was nothing even though I made it very clear that it was something! I didn’t get hostile by any means but she shortly ended the appointment afterwards. In the end I went to my gp and I had it removed and tested. Unfortunately it came back as cancer! I was/am so angry and hurt that Dr. Newland couldn’t be bothered to take it seriously! I ended all care from her immediately and let her nurse know what had happened. The nurse really didn’t know what to say but at least she apologized. I have no respect for Dr. Newland after this and I ask that patients need to stop allowing doctors to make excuses for their own poor medical decisions.
