I was a new patient, and right away I had a really great experience. The front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful, which made the whole check-in process easy and welcoming. Mary was very informative and did a great job easing my nerves. I had a lot of questions going in, and she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and really reassuring. Ms. Schmidt was also incredibly sweet. She never made me feel rushed and took her time walking me through each step, explaining what she was doing and checking in on me throughout. She made me feel comfortable the entire time, which meant a lot. Overall, my experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dermatologist!

I scheduled an appointment for me and my 24 yr son. From scheduling to showing up was amazing we were greeted, May I help you as soon as we walked in. We both filled out our paperwork and checked in and it wasn’t five minutes until my son was being called back for his appointment. I was saying, following my son we both came in for skin issues. Mine was eczema. His was acne. Doing my exam the doctor noticed a mow on my right ankle, which has been there for years and has bugged me. She asked if I would like to remove in my reply was yes she not me and as all I was talking in two minutes, it was gone, the greatest experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. all the ladies were super friendly, very polite very personal excellent bedside manners. The place was nice and clean. I even made a friend in the waiting room. I definitely had a great experience and for my son. He was well please definitely will be following up and waiting for the results. Thank you Dr. Taryn and nurses and a huge thanks to nurse Aslan Ma for making us both comfortable and reassuring me that I was in the best place have an awesome weekend ladies you all rock❤️

If you need to go to a dermatologist go here for excellent care. The staff is friendly, very efficient, and helpful. Dr. Rupp is gentle, kind, and very easy to talk to. His MA, Frannie, makes everything much less stressful. Her demeanor is comforting and even fun! Best physician and staff in KC dermatology. I know, I've been to quite a few over the years.

I can’t say enough great things about Taryne at Dermatology Specialists of KC! She has been our dermatology nurse practitioner for several years, and every visit with her is a wonderful experience. She is always incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, which makes appointments feel comfortable and stress-free. Recently she saw my 6-year-old son, and he absolutely loved her. She was so patient and kind with him, and even brought in his favorite candy as a reward for being brave—such a thoughtful touch that meant a lot to us as parents. The entire office experience is great as well. We were seen very quickly - and close to our scheduled appointment time. We truly look forward to seeing Taryne and would absolutely recommend her to friends and family!

Taryne is seriously the best ever!! She is so kind and the way she speaks makes me feel so welcome! I always get nervous going into offices but i’m happy i went to her:) I’d recommend her a million times
