I highly recommend Dr. Kiracofe and her staff! ‘Dr. K’ spent extra time with me, even staying after hours, answering my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly before making her recommendations for my skin care. (I am over 60 and am trying to slow time!) She asked for and considered products I was currently using and that were working well for me, and then made adjustments and suggestions accordingly. I have seen improvements to my skin texture and tone in just a few months of following her recommended regiment! Not only is she a patient, thoughtful and thorough doctor, but I learned her kindness goes beyond her office doors. She and her team practice outreach to the community where they see less privileged women who otherwise might not receive dermatologic care. Dr. Kiracofe definitely exemplifies qualities I seek in my healthcare providers, and qualities I admire in being a good human - professional or otherwise.

I cannot recommend Dr. Kiracofe highly enough! She has been an absolute game-changer in managing my eczema and contact allergies. What sets Dr. K apart is how deeply she invests in truly understanding your skin issues and how willing she is to work with you every step of the way. From the first visit, it was clear that she genuinely cares about getting to the root of your concerns. Thanks to Dr. Kiracofe, I discovered I had allergies to two ingredients in hair dye and nail polish—something I had no idea about until she connected me with a contact allergist in the greater Chicago area. The diagnosis completely changed my approach to skincare and self-care, and Dr. K has been right there with me, helping me navigate this new information and adjust my routine accordingly. Over the past few years, she’s tailored a skincare program that works perfectly for my unique needs and sensitivities, and I finally feel confident in my skin. I am writing this review after having a horrible experience with Dr Elizabeth Kiracofe. After paying a premium for her services (as she doesn't accept insurance) she gave me a diagnosis without even checking my skin (after I told her - "hey you haven't even looked at my scalp" she told me "some things we can tell based on the words I am hearing and past experience" which I think is reprehensible medical practice), I was rushed through my appointment (because apparently they were overbooked that day), forced to purchase products without dialogue, was not given my plan in time (received it 2 days after), and she spent the whole time during my follow-up virtual appointment being defensive and not apologizing for the lack of medical care, empathy or professionalism. This is a clear sign that this practice is OVERBOOKED and she doesn't have enough capacity to handle new patients. I genuinely feel I have wasted $1000+ going to her. SHOCKINGLY POOR EXPERIENCE.

Very professional and clean. High standards here and your care is in great hands. I went in for a cancer skin screening. They took a little biopsy with no pain or downtime, just to be safe than sorry. She is also going to help me with my melasma issue. She can give you a personal recommendation daily and nightly routine of products you already use. Love this personal touch!

I've seen Dr. Kiracofe for the last few months; she's exceptional. I found her online and made an appointment after seeing her positive reviews. I've seen her for a few issues, including hair & skin concerns, and anti-aging. During my first appointment, we covered so much. Her staff was kind enough to type up the notes from my session so I could reference them as I completed the recommended skin/body care routines. As a Black woman, I was hesitant to share my issues with my hair since I've been misdiagnosed in the past, but I was blown away by how knowledgeable Dr. Kiracofe was about my particular problem. Her warm demeanor made me feel immediately comfortable. She's incredibly knowledgeable, patient when answering questions, and so kind. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist.
