Exactly what the other reviewer said… “Genuinely got scammed. Pulled the bait and switch on me with my treatment. Save your energy and your money and go somewhere else” These are the exact words I used speaking to the administrator of this practice. Dr Carqueville had me doing all these tests not covered by insurance for absolutely no reason at all. Almost $1000 later and it was a complete joke. No solution to my issue. She also prescribed oral medication for my skin while she was sitting on a stool across the room. Never came close to look or feel it. I’m surprised by all the good reviews and it makes me believe they are not truthful. There are many options in the area. You’d be wise to check them out. This office is a complete scam. I cannot figure out why she is considered so highly. She’s extremely unethical and frankly should have her license revoked for it.

I couldn't be more thrilled with my recent experience with Dr. Carqueville and her staff for a cosmetic treatment. From the very beginning, she took the time to listen to my concerns and explain the treatment plan in detail, making me feel heard and well cared for during the appointment. It's clear she truly cares for each and every one of her patients. Aside from her extensive expertise, she has a warm and personable demeanor allowing for an enjoyable experience all around. If you're seeking a dermatologist who exhibits all of the above, I highly recommend Dr. Carqueville.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr. Carqueville. A friend recommended her so we thought we would give her a chance. As a first-time patient, I expected a thorough consultation, but instead, I was seen primarily by a Physician Assistant who did not indicate what her role was in my care. I understand that PAs play an important role as I have seen them in other medical offices and have had great experiences. However, it became clear when Dr Carqueville arrived in the middle of the visit without even looking at me that this would be a completely different experience. She stood by the door, left it wide open discussing my care for the limited seconds she was present without any concern for patient privacy and seemed more focused on her exit than on my concerns as she barely had 2 feet in the room. To make matters worse, there was a clear contradiction between the action plan suggested by the PA and the doctor's brief comments. When I asked her to clarify the discrepancy, Dr Carquesville became flustered and left the room telling the PA to finish up. This lack of coordination raised serious doubts about the quality of care being provided, and her hastiness to leave the room without finalizing or contributing to the medical plan spoke more to her professionalism than the few words she uttered. I am shocked that anyone would let such a doctor take care or, God forbid, operate on them. Overall, I left feeling like just another number rather than a patient. It seems like the practice prioritizes money as I was asked to buy multiple products at the time of checkout. I would not recommend this dermatologist to anyone seeking genuine care and attention as she is a rude, money-hungry “physician” who has no compassion, no professionalism and as other patients have noted, terrible bedside manner and rapport. Patients deserve better treatment, especially for an initial consultation, and I am certain that can be found anywhere in the city of Chicago.

I’ve been to Dr. Jordan a couple of times in the past few years why I’m giving her five stars is that she actually went out of her way to call me. I had an issue with a front desk person and I complained about it. She went out of her way to call me and validate my feelings. I was a fresh postpartum mother 3 years ago my hormones were all over the place, so I’m sure I was probably overly sensitive to begin with and now I probably wouldn’t have thought it was that big a deal but she made me feel so much better and has a wonderful bedside manner. I think doctors don’t realize how important it is to validate a patient’s feelings and listen to them. It goes such a Long Way, Dr. Jordan has that , she’s so good with patients she’s empathetic and she is doing this for the right reasons. I’ve met so many doctors with horrible bedside manners. There’s so very few that are kind and actually listen to you. My visit with her was very pleasant. She looked me in the face she looked at me in the eye. She asked me what my issues were and I remember walking away from that doctor visit feeling good not dismissed not invalidated

I have nothing but positive things to say about this office. The staff is friendly and attentive, and Dr. Carqueville is incredible! She has great bedside manner, incredibly knowledgeable, and meticulous with her work for both medical and cosmetics. She also takes the time to address any of my questions/concerns without ever making me feel rushed. She's amazing!
