Dr. Shagalov is hands down the best doctor experience I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this office is on another level. The entire space is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Every room has its own theme and name, like the Rose Room and Lavender Room, which gives the office such a warm, luxury feel instead of the typical cold medical-office atmosphere. More importantly, Dr. Shagalov herself is incredible. She is extremely sweet, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely takes her time with you. I never once felt rushed. She explains everything thoroughly, answers every question, and makes you feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire appointment. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and is exceptionally skilled at what she does. The staff was equally amazing. Every single person there was friendly, welcoming, professional, and helpful. No attitude, no ego, no chaos, which is honestly rare these days at many medical offices. The entire team runs the office smoothly and makes the experience stress-free from start to finish. What I also love is how comprehensive the practice is. They do everything from cosmetic dermatology and lasers to fillers, medical dermatology, and even surgical procedures when necessary. It’s reassuring knowing you’re at a place that truly specializes in all aspects of dermatology and aesthetics. I almost always end up frustrated at doctors’ offices because of rude staff, outdated offices, long waits, or doctors who rush through appointments. This was the complete opposite. Biscayne Dermatology exceeded every expectation I had. If you are looking for a dermatologist in Miami, Dr. Shagalov is absolutely number one. I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

Dr Shagalov is the best dermatologist. She has treated my husband and I as well as my very elderly parents. She is patient, explains everything and her surgical skills are superior to every doctor we have seen. Everything seems to heal without a scar. My sister even arranged to see her when she was here on vacation. I would strongly recommend Biscayne Dermatology.

I’m extremely disappointed with this office. When I first started coming here, everything seemed great. the office was clean, smelled nice, and the front desk staff were very friendly. They even greeted me by my first name at appointments. Dr. Shagalov is very kind and seems knowledgeable. She did help resolve my issue, which turned out to be a benign tumor that had been misdiagnosed, and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, the billing side has been very frustrating. After almost every visit, I was told I had a remaining balance from a previous appointment, usually between $300–$400, which was unexpected. At my last visit, I specifically asked to confirm that I had no outstanding balance, and I was told everything was clear. A month later, I received a bill for nearly $500 from an outside lab used for my biopsy. No one had told me a third-party lab would be involved or that I’d be billed separately. I reluctantly agreed to a payment plan, only to then be told to expect another bill for a second biopsy that I was never informed about. I called the office and spoke with Melissa, who was initially understanding and said she would follow up after speaking with the doctor, but I never heard back. When I called again a month later, she seemed more defensive when I brought up my concerns. I was told this is “standard practice,” which hasn’t been my experience with other dermatology offices that are more transparent about costs and billing. She said she would pass my concerns along again to Dr. Shagalov to see if the second charge could be waived. I really hope they do the right thing, because it’s not acceptable to perform a second biopsy without informing the patient especially given that I wuldve been contecnt with the first resulsts OR to not clearly explain that an outside lab could result in additional charges. This office really needs to improve transparency and communication when it comes to both procedures and billing.

I just had Mohs surgery by Dr Shagalov yesterday. I have to give her five stars. She was so caring and so careful with my face. Her staff was also very warm and caring as well. If I could give 10 stars she would get 10

I cannot recommend Dr. Devorah Shagalov and Biscayne Dermatology enough. Dr. Shagalov is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also has such a warm and caring approach that immediately makes you feel comfortable. She takes the time to truly listen, explain treatment options in detail, and create a personalized plan that actually works. The entire team at Biscayne Dermatology is professional, attentive, and welcoming — from the moment you walk in, you feel well taken care of. I’ve seen real improvements under Dr. Shagalov’s care, and I trust her expertise completely. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who combines top-tier medical expertise with genuine compassion, Dr. Shagalov is absolutely the one.
