Great clinic, great staff, great results! Everything has always went well whenever I booked my appointments in the past. It was easy to call and schedule or be put on the waitlist, and it is very good to get an appointment asap! Especially with acne-related problems. I feel like a lot of other places when I tried to call, they were booked out for weeks or even months out. However, at Golden State Dermatology I have always been able to get an appointment within days or within a week. The front desk ladies are very nice and polite. Dr. Ford is also really knowledgeable, friendly, and has worked with me to see what prescriptions would be best for me as a patient. I would highly recommend and look forward to my next appointment!

Update: things were very smooth until construction directly in front of their office held me up for an appointment. Apparently they have a 10 minute grace period which I completely understand and okay with. I walked into the office at 10:08. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00. By the time she called me up to the office was a minute later because she was on the phone with a patient. I was within the grace period yet was told that I had to wait in the lobby to be seen with no expected time. It's not feasible to ask somebody to wait for however many hours when they are within the grace.. I appreciate the fact that they were willing to see me but I can't just sit in the office until they're able to squeeze me in. I asked to reschedule and they couldn't get me in for almost another month when I'm supposed to have shots every 4 weeks. Extremely dissatisfied at this point especially when you can see the construction on the road out of their office windows and other patients said the same thing. This is one of my favorite health care providers office. From the front office staff to the nurses and doctors, everyone is consistently welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Dr Ford and his team are skilled, professional and pleasant. Skin cancer tumor cleanly removed and cleaned up. After many other procedures in different parts of California and am glad to be here now. Cannot recommend him more strongly.

Dr. Ford was very attentive to my needs. He was able to determine a problem that I had for several years without being properly diagnosed. He was able to diagnose very quickly what the problem was. Then when another issue came up he was able to refer me to a person who was then able to resolve that issue. The entire office is very receptive and determined to help with whatever problem you may have. If your particular physician is out of town or on a vacation, the other doctors in the office will step in and take care of you while they are gone if an issue comes up. I would refer them to anyone because they are wonderful.

I saw Sandra Kemptner. She is attentive, asks questions, answers questions without making you feel silly and, most importantly, she is curious. We selected a course of action to test the viability of a treatment plan, and based on the results, will take the next step. What I especially like is that we both discussed the plan and I was part of the decision-making process. I've been a patient of C&B for years and will continue with them for my skin care needs.
