I went to Dr. Wu on separate occasions for two different skin condition treatments: alopecia areata + acne keloidalis nuchae. The first condition was treated well with steroid injections, but the second condition was not. They prescribed me tretinoin topical gel to “manage symptoms” as there is no cure for auto-immune disorders, but it didn’t work to reduce symptoms at all. I went to an alternative provider for a second opinion and was given a much better prescription that has worked great on the symptoms. The new provider was empathetic and scheduled follow ups to ensure treatment was working. Dr. Wu was professional but I would have appreciated a more thorough approach to find alternative treatments and follow up, rather than being dismissive since it wasn’t a severe condition. I would recommend finding a provider that specializes in complex skin conditions.

Dr. Wu is Super talented & just Amazing! He offers quality services with affordable prices!! His modern office is very clean, centrally located & easy to get to! Dr. Wu & his team did an excellent job in making sure I was comfortable and were very attentive in listening to my needs. I am Extremely Satisfied with my Results and now Dr. Wu Is my first choice! I will continue to recommend his office to anyone who needs a problem solved and expects a Great outcome (:

Dr. Wu is extremely conscientious and a good doctor ( I know. I’ve been to a couple of not so good!). The office is organized and easy to make an appointment. I fly from Denver to see him. That’s how highly I think Dr. Wu. Young doctors are more up to date with new treatments and new technology. I recommend Dr. Wu without reservation. Arlette

I decided to visit Ulmer Dermatology in Long Beach last week and was instantly greeted with a welcoming staff. Dr. Wu helped fix my gummy smile by putting some botox on my upper lip and also some on the sides of my jaw to help slim down my face. The procedure was both quick and painless. My face was a little tight the next day, but I did not experience any bruising whatsoever! Dr. Wu currently has specials for restylane, dysport, and sculptra (check out his IG: jamesgwumd), so definitely take advantage! I highly recommend Dr. Wu for any of your beauty and skincare needs! I'll definitely be back THANK YOU!!

He used resurfx to help me get rid of all my acne scars & was so nice the whole time & helped the treatment be as painless as possible! If you’re struggling with acne I definitely recommend visiting Dr. Wu! My friend also got laser hair removal treatment & it worked so well! Im definitely going to be coming back!
