My son had been going here for nearly a year and diagnosed with "acne." He went through multiple different grueling acne treatments, including 9 months on Accutane and a painful extraction attempt, only to discover after obtaining a 2nd opinion, that his skin issue is NOT acne; he has keliods. It took the next dermatologist (Forefront Dermatology) less than a minute to look at my son's face and diagnosed him with keliods. He is currently recieving treatment and his skin is responding well. I am just very disappointed that this dermatologist at Madison Medical could not figure that out after all the months of different acne treatments (especially Accutane and a painful extraction) not responding. Not to mention when we decided to discontinue care with this office, we never once heard from them. No concern, no questions, nothing! But they make sure to send the monthly bill. Shows how much they truly care about the person they are supposed to be caring for.

My showed up to my first appointment with Madison Medical, and found out that "they had spoke with me on the phone Monday, and that I had canceled my appointment." I had never received any phone calls, but only a text with a link to confirm my appointment, which I had done. I had left work early, taken PTO, and drove 30 minutes to find out that they obviously messed up their paperwork. Because of this, they had me reschedule for their other location (which was now 40 minutes away from my work), and I had to wait a week longer. - Now a week later I called twice before to make sure my appointment wasn't magically canceled, and took additional PTO to make it to my appointment. I am giving this review 2 stars because the staff was very friendly and responsive to my questions. I was in and out in considerable time, which made it possible for me to make up lost time at work in the afternoon. However, the bill for this visit is absolutely ridiculous. I have had asthma for 8 years and am new to the area so I needed a new doctor. I have made several calls to understand why my bill is over $1,000 for a 20 minute visit, that consisted of conversation and 20 seconds of blowing in a tube. I understand that I am a new patient, but I believe billing me as a regular office visit is not appropriate when the appointment was specifically for preventative care... if I hadn't had the appointment I couldn't receive more asthma medication to be able to BREATH. This is absurd and should be corrected. Happy Holidays to me.

I couldn't find a my insurance card ND I was trying to look them up on my phone. They front desk old lady with orange hair was rude and very much ignorant she was treating me like I had an in ability to pay then blurted out well maybe you can call your husband to pay for it. I then informed her that I didn't have a husband and that I will pay the 100 dollars up front. Every Caucasian woman in there was looking at my daughter a I didnt belong there or like we shouldn't have seen the dermatologist because I couldn't find my Insurance card. Yes I should have been more prepared but it didn't give them a reason to treat us like that.

Forces me to take labs that aren't covered by insurance, out of network, at hundreds per visit, for pills I was using for years before going there, without adverse affects. Then makes it a fight to get anxiety meds refilled every single time, leading to more anxiety. Ultimately decides to switch my provider and refuses to refill my prescription without another visit, again of a pill I have been using for years to treat anxiety. Seriously, I'm fortunate not to have had more serious consequences from the additional anxiety attacks they've led me to, just a diminished quality of life to date. Hopefully I can find a better provider soon.

Very nice providers, but my appointment got rescheduled/canceled 3 separate times last minute due to laser not working, provider out of town, and scheduling the wrong type of appointment. I understand things happen, but I’ve taken time off work to make these appointments and have gotten cancels shortly before appointment. Sad to say my experience with this clinic has been very unreliable.
