I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews! I chose it because it was closer to my house than a drive to downtown Seattle. The first time I came in about a week ago, I was told I had booked with the wrong doctor, and that their website was wrong, but that they had since changed it. The doctor was super nice and apologetic and I truly wasn't bothered, since mistakes happen. They told me to keep checking online for the dermatologist, as he was booked out 4 months. I checked daily and an appt opened up for the next week, so I got in within 2 weeks of my first visit. Doctor Markus was SO NICE and his assistant Renel was GREAT! He was funny, yet very professional. And Renel was just super kind. She even called me back super quickly when I had a question. I was a baby about the whole procedure, and they both made me feel very calm. It was as quick and painless as it could be! The front desk staff isn't very warm, or overly friendly, but they are not mean or rude, so I had no issue there. The gal at the front desk waited patiently for me to find my insurance card and answered all of my questions about billing and insurance. I would recommend this place and highly recommend Dr. Markus!

This was my 2nd appt with you. The first time (1 yr ago) seemed much more thorough. Maybe it was because the previous Dr took care of any suspicious skin spots so there weren’t anymore to address. This time the Dr did what seemed like a cursory exam. He was nice, the service was good, I just had a very different experience.

Dr. Markus is truly wonderful. I’ve been a patient for about seven years and have consistently been very happy with both the treatments and the results. I’ve also noticed a significant improvement at the front desk—while I experienced a few issues in the past, my recent visits have been much smoother. Thank you to the team for that positive change.

Dr Arntzen, and Team has always treated me great and have shown great care. My only criticism would be that I’m always on time for my appointments, but have always have had to wait 30min, but that seems to be the norm with any practice.

I’ve been going to Westside Dermatology and Dr. Ramsey Markus for quite a few years now. I always feel very well cared for, remembered, and everyone there is very attentive. While it can be challenging to get an appointment without quite a bit of wait time, I’ve been fortunate enough to take advantage of a late cancellation when I’ve really needed to be seen.
