While to dermats are good, patients should be aware of potential billing classification at this practice. I was billed CPT 99204 (Level 4 new patient visit) for a routine acne evaluation that involved a topical prescription and brief consultation. When questioned, the charge was upheld based on coding criteria rather than the apparent complexity (I have been seeing different dermats since past 3 years, and have never been charged this much) The billing is disproportionate to the actual visit and treatment provided. Even if it is technically within coding rules, it clearly shows that maximizing billing takes priority over reasonable, transparent patient costs at this location.

Every one of their offices is the same, PRIVATE EQUITY. Ask AI whether Private Equity, a cosmetics company here w a medical umbrella, has ruined medical treatment and decide for yourself whether you have value to You. After the skin excision at their Edmonds office I was given two cheap bandages to an open wound to hold me off until their Doctor was available. I had gone to Overlake Emergency and received careful evaluation and quality bandages, professional quality unavailable at retail stores, to tide me over. Before the skin sample was taken by Frontier. I guess the cancer on my back was no skin off Their back.

Please be careful scheduling an appointment with Ashlee. Overall, the experience I had went downhill after check in. From check in, the entire team was incredibly helpful from taking my insurance and taking in my medical history once in the office. The assistant prior to Ashlee asked questions to get to know me, my needs, and what was happening. I had hair loss, skin rashes, and a bald spot growing where I had huge amounts of flakes and redness in scalp. Once Ashlee came in, she took less than 5 minutes, and was incredibly rushed. I was told that I “must have came on a good day” with no physical symptoms showing, even after pointing exactly where I had flakes and redness, and further showing her photos. I felt like I had to advocate heavily for myself, thinking she would genuinely care. Even though she told me she saw no symptoms, she still prescribed me a topical ointment that she said would alleviate my itchiness - why prescribe something when a “doctor” has seen no symptoms? That seems to be what Frontier holds as a standard. While there were rarely any reviews for Ashlee, I held hope since she was the soonest available, but now I know why. Please be careful, and consult a second medical opinion. After this experience I learned I had an oily scalp, was put on a regimen, and was not rushed elsewhere. Again, please be careful with this doctor that prescribes without critically analyzing patient needs. (Not to mention a $300 bill later). Outside of that, the rest of the team was incredibly helpful.

I went in to have a cancer spot removed. Parking was smoke and the Check-in was swift. During the whole procedure, I was kept informed what was happening and the Dr. was very conscientious about any pain I was experiencing and numbed the area more. I left all bandages up and with appointments set for a follow up plan. For what it was, it was a great experience and I don’t think it could have gone any better.

Julie Wentzel did an amazingly good. She did an outstanding job. If I need any more thing done, I will definitely go back to her. The office is very good also.
