I had a wonderful experience with Danielle Johnson, PA-C at Virginia Dermatology. Scheduling an appointment through the patient portal was very easy and was able to be seen within a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when the office even called to offer me an earlier appointment. When I arrived, check-in was quick and I had hardly any wait time. I only waited a few minutes before Danielle came into the room. She quickly diagnosed the spot on my forearm that had been bothering and concerning me, and she also took the time to look at a few other areas I was worried about. What impressed me most was that she was able to remove the spot right then and there during the same visit, which I truly appreciated. Danielle was compassionate, friendly, and has an excellent bedside manner. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment and provided very clear aftercare instructions before I left. I highly recommend Danielle Johnson, PA-C to anyone looking for knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely caring dermatology care.

Had a great experience. As soon as I walked in the front desk staff greeted me and took care of me immediately. The provider I had was great and helped me with my skin care needs and concerns. Highly recommend this clinic.

Conversation with a doctor is 5 minutes long. The doctor did not address any of the acne concerns, just went over my skin care routine and prescribed me antibiotic cream. No blood work, no talks about the cause of acne, just an antibiotic. When it comes to my initial problem, the lipoma that I have over my eyebrow, the doctor suggested that it “might” be just under skin acne and we will use a cream even tho I said it has been there from 6-12 months. Nothing good out of this appointment apart from a referral to see a surgeon.

I have been more DrMssterd for a very long time always been treated very well but today I cough an appointment for my hands and young lady. Answer the phone and gave me the rundown about how many appointments I have missed, but I have so many bottles of medicine from Dr. Matsters so I couldn’t miss so many I explained to her my situation she said she would take it to her office manager. I’ve never used this before all these years I’ve been going there. I was very disappointed and I found new dermatologist. I am so sorry to hear retired. He was the best dermatologist. His office is no longer the same for me.

I had an appointment with Cynthia Ferguson, MHS, PA-C and her assistant. Their bedside manners were horrible. To start, as a Black woman myself the last thing I expected was a racial comment, “Yall Black women always….” It was very unprofessional. They did not listen to my initial request and immediately made an assumption. I had to correct them. I was met with negativity as if I was causing them an inconvenience with my presence. I was the first appointment of the day. I deserved to have been treated with respect and kindness just like any paying patient/customer.
