Office did not return my calls or voice mails so I could book an appointment. Finally got through to someone in the office, very nice and helpful. Booked the appointment and confirmed via text message. Morning of the appointment two wrecks on the way to their office. I knew I would be late so I called the office to advise them, again no answer. Texted the same number I confirmed the appointment with, auto reply text that said it is not a monitored line. I show up and was told there is a 5 minute grace period for being late, I was a little over 10 minutes late. The office should have notified me upon booking AND confirming that there is only a 5 minute grace period. I had to make arrangements at work so I could make this appointment and I live about 30 minutes away. The traffic in the area is extremely terrible, the office should have made it very clear about the late policy. Even if I wanted to reschedule they would not have answered the phone. Gas, money, time off of work....absolutley shameful.

Don't bother coming here!! Today, I drove from North Carolina in the pouring rain. I was refused the visit because I arrived at 2:07PM for a 2:00PM appointment. I have seen times I have waited to be serviced for more than 10 minutes. The services I've received have really been bare minimum. I've been trying to get healing for my face and it's all been an experiment with no results. Just prescriptions on top of prescriptions that takes at least weeks for them to be called in to the pharmacy, just to have receive no real results. I was recently passed on to a Caucasian female physician who denied seeing me because they have a 5 minute grace period. The front desk staff is forever changing, never the same people from month to month and this time, they were Caucasian as well and nonchalant. I chose this dermatologist because I preferred an African American doctor for my melanin skin issue. But she's too busy to see you for follow-up visits which is why I was pushed over to the Caucasian physician who doesn't grant grace for bad weather nor for travel time that takes over an hour. They only had 1 patient waiting. Yes, I'm disappointed but this is an honest review. It's simple, if you want better customer service, a result driven dermatologist with people who really care about you as the patient, GO ELSEWHERE!! I cancelled all upcoming appointments going forward!

I understand that Dr. Harvey and her staff are nice. How effective are treatments? Does the office manager have a different contact number? Also, does portal identify where a patient is on wait list for cancelled appointments?

From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt welcomed and cared for. The receptionist was professional and personal. The care I received once in the room was exceptional. Everything was explained well and my problem was taken care immediately. After care was explained and my entire experience was highly positive and all within 30 minutes!

Wow. Appointment was for 1:50. I walked in at 1:53. Waited for 3-4 minutes while the lady at the front desk finished up with checking out the person in front of me. She checked me in at 1:58, and told me to wait while she went to the back. She came back up and said “unfortunately, we need to reschedule. We have a strict 5 minute late policy, and you are now 8 minutes late.” I asked her if it counts that I was there waiting for a few minutes before I was checked in, she said there was nothing she could do. That they actually have a zero minute late policy. Just. Wow.
