I have so many issues with this establishment. First off, when you call, you are never able to get the call to ring. If you somehow get the phone to ring, you now have to hope that someone answers. If someone does answer, you must face your next challenge which is hoping that the receptionist doesn’t put you on hold and hang up. If you are somehow by the miracle of god able to talk to someone, the receptionists are unhelpful and just trying to get you off of the phone as soon as possible. Next is the wait. If you are able to successfully schedule an appointment at this disappointment of a doctors office, you will get here and be expected to wait 20 minutes MINIMUM because the doctor is always behind. On top of that another 15 minutes waiting for the doctor to come to the room the nurse brings you to. All of that waiting for the you to be seen by the doctor for maybe 10 minutes max. I also was not fond of Dr. Schreiber and how he treated his assistant that was in the room. He was rude and condescending. Not to mention multiple times now I’ve been prescribed medication by Dr. Schreiber, but have had to wait weeks on end for it to get filled because of a mistake on the doctors end so the pharmacy is unable to fill it. On more than one occasion, I’ve scheduled a follow up appointment, and then weeks later receive a text that states there is a “scheduling conflict” and I need to reschedule. I just have so many issues with this place. It is wildly unprofessional and the amount of time I have to spend or wait for action to be taken is not worth it for how little time and effort the staff seems to put into caring about their patients.

We contacted the office to make an appointment to have “a nail removed” due to prolonged fungus infection. We had tried numerous other alternatives either no success. We specifically asked to see the doc. We showed up and found we were scheduled with a PA who had no interest in removing a nail as he proposed a 12 month treatment. It was only during the last 5 mins of the visit that he stated he could do it …. After we scheduled another appointment. Driving an hour up from NC we rely on the receptionists to convey our requests so they can adequately plan. The PA was only pushing his 12 month pill plan and had zero interest in listening to me as the patient. Not recommended!

I had angry skin brought no by an allergic reaction. Very uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep, etc. The phone staff went out of their way to get me seen within an hour! Dr. Fuller took great care of me. Gave me his mobile number so I could reach him if things got worse for me over the weekend. I am doing MUCH BETTER as a result. So responsive! So kind! So professional! Highly recommended!

Had an awful experience. Showed up for my scheduled appointment, checked in, was in the waiting room for an hour and never called back. When I went to reception to ask why I was still waiting, I was told there was "an error on our part" and that I would either have to wait TWO MORE HOURS or reschedule. They did not apologize for the inconvenience. I left the office and have no plans to return. If you can't treat patients with respect for their time, why are you in health care?

I recently called the Kempsville Road office as a potential patient of Dr. Schreider. My experience with the receptionist, Mary Ann, was very disappointing. There was no greeting, and her tone was flat, disengaged, and seemed annoyed. When I asked about the doctor and the procedure methods, she said she had "no clue what they do back there" and did not seem interested in helping. She took my basic information and asked about my insurance. I explained I have very good insurance, which she confirmed they accept, but when I said I didn’t have my insurance number with me, she told me to call back once I had it. I was looking forward to learning more about Dr. Schreider, who seems to have good reviews, but because of this interaction, I asked her to delete my information and will be looking into another practice. As someone with over a decade in healthcare, I know how important first impressions and welcoming customer service are, especially since patients often come to doctors in vulnerable moments. This experience was unwelcoming and not reflective of the care I would expect.
