I was a first-time client here for my annual full-body check-up. The lady who booked my appointment and the front desk staff were friendly. However, my appointment was scheduled for 3:00 p.m and I wasn’t seen by the doctor until 3:36pm. It would have been nice if the staff had given me a heads-up, especially since I live just five minutes away. When I finally saw the doctor, she was kind and very helpful with the questions I had. Overall, the experience was pleasant minus the long wait which she was apologetic about.

Do not go! They have questionable billing practices. I expressly told them verbally and written in their paperwork that I did not want my credit card saved in their system, they added it. I removed it, as I paid co- pay and extra charges (they make you pre pay what insurance will cover) they added it again to their unsecured system. Then they send bills for what was already paid. I waited over 1 hour for my appointment. They removed a mole for checking which I am pretty sure was to add charges . I asked for the pictures and why but no response. The place is filthy. The P.A. was ok. Too many great well qualified dermatologists for you to be part of their questionable billing practices. I made the mistake of going here because at the time I needed somewhere close. Big mistake.

Caring and courteous provider. Knowledgeable. Resourceful. Courteous, helpful staff. Clean office and exam room environment. Speaks in layman terms so you understand. I appreciate his mild manners toward me as a senior adult.

They want you to get there 30 mins early to fill out paperwork that takes approximately 1 minute to fill out. When I wasnt there 30 mins early, they called to make sure I was coming. I arrived 10 mins before my appointment my time and was checked in and ready to go. there were five other people waiting. I ended up waiting in that waiting room for 30 mins because they were running behind. They had been running behind all day. So why wouldnt you tell me that when you called? oh BTW we are running about 30 mins behind so you can come later? finally I was led back to a room. a dirty room. what was the rush that it couldn't be cleaned? the girl hurried and tore off the paper that you sit on and threw away a used glove. nothing was wiped down. the chair that several people ahead of me have sat their bare butts on wasnt cleaned. when she stepped out for me to change, I took a wipe from the counter and wiped it down and the wipe had a lot of residue on it. it was really gross to not sanitize a doctor's office. the floor also had a bunch of white stuff and a slick residue. after changing, I proceeded to wait another 30 mins in that paper robe. it took an hour of waiting until I finally got a skin check that takes 15 mins. I come here because the location is convenient, but if im waiting an hour, id rather drive 15 mins to westlake dermatology where im seen promptly and they actually take pride in their office and clean it.

I’ve been going here for 5+ years and always had good experiences with the healthcare providers. I recently switched to Dr. Clarke bc my former provider moved out to the Westlake Hills location. Dr Clarke has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable with my rosacea situation and even correctly diagnosed an issue that a doctor from a different practice had previously misdiagnosed. Their billing and scheduling departments can be a little chaotic and unclear at times, but the actual healthcare providers are top notch.
