I’ve been a patient at Central Texas Dermatology for 5+ years and have been consistently impressed with their quality of care! I have received thoughtful, tailored guidance, recommendations, and treatment. Lia Stratton is phenomenal, always providing her expertise, and qualified opinions. The office is great, really accommodating with scheduling, and I have never had an extensive wait. Throughly recommend for any dermatology needs!

I have seen Melissa Binney at this office for more than 25 years. She is an amazing care provider. Her strength, in my opinion, is her extraordinary ability to diagnose skin issues. She treats problems with no drama, quick and easy. I trust her diagnoses implicitly. She's always right. She is not a stiff disengaged provider, but warm and friendly. When I have an appointment with her, I feel as if I'm seeing an old friend. She is a stellar member of this practice.

TLDR;I was charged for a "procedure" I didn’t ask for, wasn’t told there was a cost associated. The billing department has been completely unhelpful. Would not recommend. --- I cannot in good faith recommend this clinic, specifically for their billing practices. I went in for an annual skin check, something that is completely covered by my insurance, and was later hit with a triple-digit bill for a "procedure" I did not ask for, that I did not even suggest or request, and that was insisted upon by my provider (literally just removing a small callus with a razor). When I left the office that day, I just paid my co-pay and left. Well, a few weeks later, I get a triple-digit bill. So, I email their billing department, who informs me I had a "procedure" done, which is why I'm getting a bill. This caught me completely by surprise, so I inquire about how we might lower this bill, especially considering that while this was something I allowed to happen, I did not really even consent to... certainly not informed consent. I've spoken to a few people at the billing department, and they have been completely unhelpful, just repeating the same boilerplate script while talking around any potential solutions. Now, I'm stuck figuring out how to cover a bill for a procedure I never even asked for, wanted, or agreed to. Further, there has been no effort whatsoever from CTD to discuss options to lower the bill, let alone any empathy for this completely avoidable experience. I got great care from my provider, but this billing experience is tarnishing that entire relationship.

Melissa Binney has been doing my semi-annual skin checks for several years. She's extremely thorough and knowledgeable and has saved me from potentially dangerous skin cancers with early detection and preventative measures. I have complete confidence in her and recommend her without hesitation.

Mellissa Binney is excellent, as are all of the staff. Really great people to work with. My regular doctor, Emma Weiss (also excellent), was unavailable but they worked me in quickly. Mellissa excised a small cyst from inside my lip, and a day later it's healing up very nicely. 👍🏻
