Harold Pettigrew a month agoI entrusted Gold Skin Dermatology with my medical care and records, and the experience became extremely concerning. My medical chart was reportedly transferred, yet afterward neither office could properly account for where the records went. Instead of taking clear responsibility and helping resolve the issue, I felt like blame was redirected back onto me as the patient. Losing a patient’s medical records is not a minor mistake. These documents contain important health history that cannot simply be recreated. What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability, poor communication, and the dismissive handling of my concerns once I began asking questions about what happened to my records and personal medical information. As a patient, I left this experience with serious concerns about record retention, privacy practices, and overall professionalism. I WOULD SUGGEST FINDING AN ALTERNATIVE DERMATOLOGIST OFFICE. I am sure the office will respond with a message to ensure they don't lose business saying they are sorry and hope to fix the problem... They have already shown they will not take accountability. Visit at your own risk.
Mirna Hanna 2 months agoI wish I can leave zero stars but that’s not an option. I do not recommend the hair removal lazer center at Gold Skin Care. I’ve been a patient with them for over 2 years now, doing a full body hair removal. I’ve been patient for this long and barely saw any progress. They kept suggesting more sessions just so that they can get more money. I feel like I was scammed and when I finally said something about it I was refused service. I was then recommended to go see Dr. Gold to figure out if it was a medical condition. After I had spoken to him, all my lab results were fine. Even when I did go speak with him in his clinic he barely spent time to go over my labs and basically brushed me off. He told me I can get 3 free sessions because I barely saw any progress with the 20 plus sessions I’ve done consistently and spending thousands of dollars. I go to schedule an appointment to get my three free sessions and was informed that apparently it was only 3 free facial sessions. Keeping in mind that I’ve been doing their package of full body hair removal, so what’s facial sessions going to do? This was not what was agreed on when I met with him. So, when I disagreed and voiced my concerns with the staff I was told they were refusing service for me, “dismissed” as she said. Which from my understanding, no one just dismisses a patient unless they didn’t want to deal with giving me the three free sessions as promised. This is just a guarantee showing that they were in the wrong and not wanting to deal with their patient. I feel like I wasn’t heard, there was no type of customer respect or appreciation for how long I’ve been with them, by following their instructions for more sessions and to be patient to see progress. They just want to steal your money and could care less about the customers. If you want to see no progress and spend thousands of dollars then this is your place.
Maria Gonzo 2 months agoThis place is a SCAM. I went with my girlfriend and all they do is recommend more sessions when there was no progress made on Hair removal. My friend trusted them since the owner is a doctor, once she said something about the no progress after spending over $6000 she was refused service. That doctor and office should lose their license to practice for unethical conduct. They don’t care it’s all about money. And if this doesn’t get fixed there will be more than just a 1 star review.
Patty Dyer 6 months agoVisited Dr Gold on 12/29/25. My visit with Dr Gold are always informative and professional. He's the best dermatologist ever! The nurse, Brandy, who assisted him at my visit was very attentive to my personal needs regarding numbing medicine, and adjusted as needed. She also explained in detail how to take care of the areas tested, and to let them know if any gave me problems. I was thoroughly impressed with Brandy and her professional work. Happy New Year to all at Dr Gold's office.
