Dr Keyes is a good doctor, but there is always a 20 minute wait -or longer- to be seen. I’d gotten used to that (and so had my husband for his appointments), and as she is in private practice, it usually takes a few weeks to get an appointment. Last year I was having cystic breakouts and had to wait 3 weeks to be seen. The day before my appt they called and said she had an emergency and couldn’t see me. I said ok , when can I come in? She said they don’t have anything for 2 weeks! I said I’ve already waited 3 weeks, can’t you get me in sooner since you’re cancelling my appointment? The answer was no. So I said I’d find another dermatologist, and I did.

The office and front desk staff are lovely and very helpful when it comes to working with your insurance. However, my experience with Dr. Keyes was extremely disappointing. She was unprofessional and refused to discuss the potential risks or side effects of the medication she prescribed. When I expressed concern and pointed out side effects that were clearly listed on the medication label, she became defensive, made an inappropriate comment about my appearance, and abruptly left the room. It was a bizarre and unsettling experience, and not something you’d expect from a medical professional.

Dr Keyes office has a welcoming staff that is always helpful. Dr Keyes explains things in terms you can understand. She runs on time and has a sort of No Nonsense demeanor. She gives you the information but doesn't waste time with fluff, yet always has time to answer any questions. Love her and have been going to her for about 10 years.

Staff was very welcoming and just kind. They got me in the next day unlike other dr offices in the area. Dr. Keyes was wonderful and very informative as previous reviews mentioned. She was able to diagnose my daughter's eczema a sec after looking at it. Will definitely be coming back here for all our skin issues .
