Wait time is usually quick, which is great. The dr is even quicker. In and out at the speed of light - which isn’t the greatest. It feels rushed. The office staff is kind but something is quite wrong with the office practices. For years I was happy and felt like they managed a good practice, but something has changed. If you have an annual appointment and get prescribed medication (not scheduled narcotics just face cream) and that prescription is supposed to be good for a year - then it should be good for a year. They (dr and the staff) agree but still tried to make me have additional appointments within that year to keep the same prescription. When questioned they all (Dr included) said that that’s not how it works, but yet the office staff doubled down on doing it. They could not explain why I needed unnecessary appointments to bill the insurance extra/double (or in this case- me, as I had not met my deductible for the year) for the same thing. Additionally, the person who handles their prescriptions (when you call in) pretends the pharmacy does not send refills to them. The pharmacy has showed me that they do and had sent them on multiple occasions. This rude individual on the office line just kept repeating like a parrot despite the refill requests being sent multiple times. This is the only office the pharmacy has ever had an issue with For my prescriptions. The same woman (on the phone) that handles prescription refills also lied to me and stated that my insurance doesn’t cover the script ..And that no insurance covers it. I had to refer that woman to my records (which they should’ve had pulled up) that clearly showed the insurance covered it (for years). She rudely told me it would take forever and I should just go to another pharmacy their office works with for a discount through the Dr. So, Instead of submitting the refill to the insurance, they just want me to use their favorite pharmacy for a kickback? It would cost me more than if my insurance covered it. What I’ve learned this year is that they want to make you have extra appointments to keep your prescription full for a year and not submit the prescription like they used to the insurance. Again, these questionable practices have only started in this last year (for me). They never did this to me before. I asked them about the ethics of the behaviors and they didn’t have anything to say. Still waiting for my prescription to be submitted to my insurance months later.

Always a smooth visit. Never any long wait times. Max amount of time I’ve ever waited was MAYBE 10 mins. Completely reasonable, in my opinion. Front desk is always efficient and calm, regardless of how many people are in line. Martika was so kind and listened to my concerns. She came into my room with a plan and we had a mutual conversation about my options. Genuinely excited to start the treatment we decided on and to see her again at our follow up. Highly recommend this office!

Everyone was quite kind and and friendly and nice somewhat informative. I was surprised at how fast they did what they did do as far as taking things for biopsy. I just assumed or figured that an initial visit would be a little bit longer than about 15 minutes I didn’t get to really ask any questions about stuff. They asked me if there was anything I needed to know before they walked out, but I really didn’t know what kind of questions to ask so maybe my next visit will be a little better in that sense and maybe a little bit less hurried.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Hu each visit. She is incredibly friendly, makes you feel comfortable right away, and takes the time to be very thorough. I have a history of skin issues and some anxiety around them, and she was so reassuring throughout the visit. She listens carefully, explains everything clearly, and never makes you feel rushed. It’s obvious she truly cares about her patients. I’m so glad I found her! The rest of the staff has been wonderful as well.

It’s my first time here, i had scheduled a Pilar cyst removal on my scalp. I tend to get very anxious and being pregnant wasn’t really helping my nerves. the nurse Lauren (I hope is her name, I asked the front desk) was extremely supportive and encouraging, explaining every procedure being done and checking in on me. She is a great presence and very attentive to detail. Dr. Hugh was also very communicative and efficient through the process as well. Thank you!
