t abbasi 2 weeks agoI highly recommend this clinic! I struggled with acne for more than 10 years and tried many treatments, but nothing gave me lasting results. Thanks to Dr. Cook and his team, my skin improved dramatically, and within just four months my acne was completely gone. Dr. Cook and her nurse Emily were always kind, professional, and very supportive throughout my treatment. They took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable at every visit. I am very grateful for their care and expertise. This clinic has truly changed my life and given me back my confidence. Thank you for everything!
Arden Nicholas a month agoI am extremely disappointed in the lack of care at my new patient appointment. I came in with 3 main concerns, a full body skin check, a scab on my forehead and itchy skin. Dr. Emily Kollmann completely dismissed my itchy skin without even trying to figure out why I would have this issue. She immediately looked at my forehead and said "yeah, looks like basal cell" with no empathy or explanation. She came at my forehead with the anesthetic needle for a biopsy without explaining what she was doing. I have never had skin cancer before so this is all very new and upsetting for me, and her bedside manner was very rushed and dismissive. She did not complete a full body skin check on me, and this was one of the main reasons I made this appointment due to having moles all over my body. I wrote this as one of my reasons for visiting on my paperwork in the office and Dr. Kollmann failed to complete this. The entire appointment was happening while I was sitting in the guest chair by the wall, neither the assistant nor Dr. Kollmann advised me to sit or lay on the patient table/chair. As a new patient, I really felt like things were rushed and not thorough at all. I expressed my concerns with the office privately before deciding to post this publicly. After discussing the matter with the doctor, a team member contacted me and stated that I could return for the full body skin check, but I would be charged another office visit fee. I respectfully declined, as I do not believe I should have to pay twice for a service I already paid for and reasonably expected to receive during my initial visit. I am not asking for a free appointment — I am simply asking for the service to be completed that I was originally seen and billed for, but did not receive. As a healthcare provider myself, I cannot imagine treating patients with such little care or accountability.
Camryn Kime 9 months agoSimilar to the experience of others leaving reviews, I had a poor experience with Dr. Monks. I explained my concerns and my thought one what might be causing my acne, and he looks at my face for 20 seconds and then prescribed a antibiotic for me to take “as needed” every time I broke out. He did not address my thoughts or concerns about my hormones playing a role and my appointment lasted 5 minutes after waiting 50 minutes past my scheduled time. -1000 stars. However, I rescheduled with Dr. Cook, wanting a second opinion and someone who would appreciate my concerns about hormonal influence. Dr. Cook and her nurse were amazing and validated my concerns and actually talked to me about why I was there. She came to a completely different conclusion and the medications I was prescribed have been amazing and apparently exactly what I’ve needed to solve my acne. I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. 5 stars for Dr. Cook and her nurses. As for front office, I have tried calling many times to schedule/reschedule and every time I am sent to voicemail. I know they are swamped, but it doesn’t seem to matter which day or time I call or leave a voicemail, I don’t even get out on hold, just straight to voicemail. As a soon-to-be healthcare provider, it is shocking how different my experience can be between these 2 providers at the same clinic. I would hope that there is a clinic standard for practice, which Dr. Cook exceeds and it seems all else are falling below. It should not be “luck of the draw” whether you’re going to receive thorough, patient-centered care. I sincerely hope they fix this.
KC 4 months agoI’m a frequent flyer here. I’ve recently heard they receive over 9,000 calls a month and see about 220 patients a day!! When I go to my appointments I see the receptionists checking in patients with smiles and making friendly conversation as much as they can, even to the people who don’t have nice things to say. (Yes I have heard a lot, you’d be surprised) When they aren’t helping someone face to face, they are always on a call. And that phone is ringing off the hook. ALL while having a brand new system! That’s impressive to me. I’ve had to leave some voicemails but I always get a call back. I have realized I am not the only person who has something concerning going on and that they are trying to help hundreds of people a day…. When I am calling, so are about 100 others! I was humbled one time after being rude to a staff member and them still being nice to me and helping me get seen sooner rather than later. What a great team they have!!! Go TDC!! You guys are doing the best you can do! I highly recommend!!
Amanda Hanus 2 months agoI had a really frustrating experience. The staff clearly didn’t have time for patients because they were trying to work through their lunch on a Friday—which honestly raises the question: why schedule patients at all during that time if you can’t properly care for them? The check-in process was chaotic and disorganized from the moment I walked in. There was no clear direction, and it felt like no one was on the same page. On top of that, the entire place smelled like food, which made the environment feel unprofessional and uncomfortable. The front office staff came across as rushed and inattentive, adding to the overall poor experience. Definitely not the level of professionalism I expected.
