Shemel Hill 3 weeks agoI went here for my first appointment due to various symptoms, such as hyperpigmentation, skin itching/rashes and acne. I explained to her that I had some severe itching and sudden rashes that may be linked to something that’s autoimmune and let her know I was seeing another specialist the next week. I feel like since she knew I was going to see another specialist, she really didn’t care to address what I thought I had going on. She was trying to send me for a biopsy and I pushed back on why a biopsy, Why was she doing that if I haven’t had any lab work done nor has she even taken a look at my skin. She responded to confirm if his contact dermatitis. I have had eczema since I was a child, and I know I have contact dermatitis so what is the point of that? I told her no I don’t need to do a biopsy for that. She responded “because it seems like you don’t believe me. I see it in your face.” I told her I felt like I had psoriasis happening due to my inkling about an autoimmune disorder. And my scalp and hairline has been burning and have had some silver dry patches.I was trying to show her pictures that I’ve taken when I was insanely inflamed with lots of rashes On my skin since I was put on steroids to calm things down from a different doctor. She wasn’t really interested in seeing it. She did not look at my skin nor did she take a look at the scalp inflammation and rash that I have going on currently. She was not very helpful and then to put the cherry on top, she asked me if I had private insurance or Medicaid. Which I thought was such a micro aggression. In addition, she then started talking about the cost of $2000 medicines and if I wanna go the route of insurance or if I just wanna pay out-of-pocket cash $49 right now for a product that I don’t even know about, that she makes with a pharmacy as a compound medication. I truly feel like it was a waste of my time and I won’t be back there, and she was very dismissive and did not really care for her patient. She truly should just run a cosmetic practice and sell products.
Jamie Hogue a month agoTook my son to see Katy and had a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and helpful and we were attended to quickly. Also love the fact that we were able to get in so much quicker than with other dermatology clinics. Would highly recommend!
Darla Cooper 8 months agoI just left the office and was very impressed! I went in with some moles that I was concerned were pre-cancerous. It turns out that they were not cancer! The staff at Oklahoma Dermatology were incredibly kind, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Trotter and her staff!
Nicole Golden a year agoWaste of time and money. I paid $90 for the "doctor " to say that she would prescribe me something but it won't do anything!! I Said ok so you're saying it's going to waste my time and money so don't even worry about it . She said that since it'll be covered by insurance we might as well give it a try. So I went to pick up my prescriptions to find out she didn't write enough information and it was denied by insurance and I could pay $170 out of pocket for medicine they don't even trust. I would ask for a refund but I know that would also be a waste of time so this one star review will have to work for now. Also, they should stick to selling Botox and not offer medical services. I am very disappointed. I am experiencing hair loss and she didn't do any tests. I paid $90 for NOTHING. No test, no medicine just a waste of time. And money.
Lee Wilson a year agoFriendly and super helpful staff. No long wait to get in to see the doctor and Dr Katy was so kind and professional, quickly putting my mind to ease. What an amazing experience! I don't have insurance and it was inexpensive to get checked out. If it seems like I am raving, I am! From calling and talking to a real person, to them being able to see me quickly, to the no waiting in the waiting room, to the kind staff. Great Experience! A++
