I can’t say enough good things about OSU Dermatology West and Dr. Dunaway. From day one, the level of care, professionalism, and genuine concern has been outstanding. Dr. Dunaway took the time to listen, explain options clearly, and tailor treatment in a way that made me feel heard and taken seriously. That alone puts him a cut above most specialists. What really sets this office apart, though, is how far they went beyond basic medical care. The staff helped navigate insurance hurdles, prior authorizations, and all the usual bureaucratic nonsense that normally gets dumped on patients. They were proactive, responsive, and clearly invested in making sure I got the care I needed without unnecessary delays or stress. Every interaction I’ve had with this office has been compassionate, efficient, and respectful. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines clinical excellence with this level of advocacy and follow-through. I’m genuinely grateful to Dr. Dunaway and his entire staff for going above and beyond. If you’re looking for dermatology care where you’re treated like a person and not a chart number, this is the place.

After 2 years of being treated for a rare, painful skin condition only to have it worsen, I was referred to Dr. Kaffenberger. Within 2 months there was noticeable improvement and under his care I continue to heal. I have such a deep gratitude for Dr Kaffenberger and his staff. Dr. K explains everything with patience and compassion and answers questions thoroughly. He and his staff have made me feel welcome from the very first visit. I highly recommend .

Dr. Kaffenberger is so wonderful. Intelligent and kind. I so appreciate her making me feel at ease . Also her expertise makes me trust my care. Also the staff is welcoming and helpful from the moment you walk in.

Dr. Kirven is amazing! She listens, she’s present, she’s thorough and offers solutions. My visits are always timely, and the entire staff seems really pleasant! I drive from about 45 min away despite having closer options because it’s been such a nice experience.

Dr. Ben Kaffenberger is compassionate and caring as well as Amanda. They make sure that health is a priority and they genuinely care about their patients. Documents are completed in a timely manner, and even if the doctor is busy, Mrs Kaffenberger or other doctors will get you in because caring for patients is their top priority. Calls are returned within 24 hours and medication refills are called in. The staff works together as a team. 100% satisfied.
