Dr. Alison Himes has incredible bedside manner and always makes me feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for during my appointments. She takes the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explains things so I can understand them, answers all of my questions with patience, and never makes me feel rushed. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Himes truly partners with her patients when making treatment decisions. She thoughtfully considers not only what will be most effective, but also what is most cost-effective, ensuring that I receive excellent care without unnecessary expenses. Her compassion, attentiveness, and dedication to her patients set her apart. Her nurses, assistants, and office staff are wonderful as well! I always leave feeling confident that I’ve been heard and that my health is in excellent hands.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about DOCS! From the moment I walked in, the entire experience was seamless. The staff greeted me warmly and made me feel completely at ease — their kindness and professionalism truly set the tone for the whole visit. Everyone was so nice while still maintaining professionalism. It was my first time seeing Kara Roche- she was thorough and listened to my concerns. I did want to comment about the young man who took me to the room and checked my information- I am SO sorry I didn’t catch his name (or maybe don’t remember/ I’m old) anyway he was terrific.

The staff are quick to get you checked in at the front desk.then it is just a few minutes until you are called back to see the MD and the medical assistant. The staff are prompt and do they entire staff work diligently to stay on task. The physician was thorough answering any and all questions with respect, knowledge and compassion. As a first time patient at the office of Dr. Kirkland I was impressed with the service received. From the front door through surgery I was given the utmost respect a person could expect or experience. The lady at the front desk was knowledgeable of my reason for the visit and my Medicare provider. Every detail had been taken care of. The nurse in the surgery room was very knowledgeable of the melanoma on my nose and explained the procedure as she prepped me for surgery. Dr Kirkland was a gentleman as well as an experienced surgeon. He also explained the procedure and any follow up that may be needed. He outlined the area on my nose at which the melanoma would be removed, and the nurse held a mirror for me to view the spot of surgery. After numbing my nose, and making sure it was numb to avoid any pain, surgery was completed. 👍🏼 The nurse did an excellent job of bandaging my nose and proceeded to give me oral and written instructions for care of the same, especially what activities to avoid for a time period. I was informed I would receive a phone call in a few days concerning any follow up necessary. Dr Kirkland even asked what I had in store for the rest of my day, and my reply was “As soon as I get out of here I am getting dinner “. I can and do recommend all involved in my care. Humbly, Jerry
