The clinical staff here are great, but the front desk receptionist, Kat, needs serious training in basic customer service and human courtesy. My entire interaction with her from start to finish was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. At check-in: We happened to be in the area and arrived 45 minutes early. We checked in at the kiosk and politely asked Kat if there was any chance of being seen early if a slot opened up. Instead of a professional answer, she hit us with a condescending, "That's not how it works," assuming we didn't understand how appointments function. At check-out: The doctor specifically told us to confirm our upcoming appointments at the front desk before leaving. When we asked Kat to do so, she quickly checked the screen and then immediately waved us off with her hand, snapping that she had to take care of the people behind us. Being busy is no excuse for treating patients like a nuisance or waving them away. Kat's attitude completely ruins the patient experience, and management needs to address her behavior.

I have been seeing Dr Chiaramonti for at least 40 years. He is always professional and prompt. He never rushes and takes time to explain things thoroughly and is happy to answer questions. He has a great way with patients. I always highly recommend him when asked by friends over the decades.

From check-in through checkout, it was very efficient, with my appointment right on time. Dr. Subash was terrific; he was thorough, professional and explained everything in great detail. I was not rushed at all at my appointment. He provided me with helpful information. His aides were very professional, as well. Highly recommend.

I've seen Dr. Mangelsdorf at Cary Derm for many years. I love that you have your provider you build a relationship with through the years. She always gives me all of the attention I need, and answers all of my questions with care and expertise. I appreciate that she really cares about me as a person, and supports my events and business when she can. It's never the most relaxing experience to go in for dermatology check-ups, but I always feel comfortable and in the best hands when I see her!

Tarsha Rivens is kind, thoughtful, and never rushes through my appointments. She takes the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and truly makes me feel cared for. She’s the most patient and meticulous dermatologist I’ve had. I’ve been seeing her for three years now, and I highly recommend her, especially for those who may have anxiety about skin concerns.
