So I scheduled an appointment in February for end of April since it was first available. A long wait, but that’s how it goes. Two days before my appointment I get a call telling me Dr Beuthe has a family emergency and that I would need to reschedule. I, of course, understand. After all, we’ve all had family emergencies. So he schedules me for the following week. Alas, two days before that rescheduled appointment I get a call saying Dr. Beuthe has another family emergency and that next available appointment was in July. Seems strange to have family emergencies every Thursday? Is it just me? And then the audacity to tell me the next available is two months away? Seems like this provider doesn’t care much for his patients. I’d work an extra 30 minutes a day to fit in the patients that I canceled on repeatedly. But no, he probably prefers to go golfing, or watch the next great Netflix series. Just so rude, unprofessional, and unbecoming of a medical provider. I’d stay away, the ratings seem to already make that point.

I highly recommend Dr. Buethe. He is kind, compassionate and always takes the time to explain any procedure or its alternatives. My face used to have several ages spots that were thick, long and black that looked like black snakes were plastered on it. I couldn't look in the mirror and didn't feel human. After being treated by Dr. Buethe, and listening to his instructions carefully, my facial skin is smooth and no black snakes. I can gladly look in the mirror. I feel like a human being now. I can never thank him enough for giving me a new face and life.

My dermatology check up lasted two minutes. I arrived 10 minutes early. Doctor Buethe finally saw me 40 minutes after my appointment time. This was my first time seeing him. I let him know that 40 minutes is too long of a wait. He told me that it's typical for him to run 30-40 minutes behind schedule and if that's not acceptable then he's happy to give me a referral to someone else. That's the last time he'll see me! It's also a symptom of our broken healthcare system!

After waiting over 2 months for an appointment with Dr. Buethe for a cancer screening due to a concerning spot my appointment was canceled the day before because I was being forced to see the other doctor who I saw Once for 2 minutes and did not have a good experience with. This is a horrible way to deal with patients. And to note - I have seen Both of these doctors so it’s not like one has more experience with me than the other. One doctor approached me as cold as ice and the other canceled the day before. Pretty disappointing.

I am highly upset. While Dr. Buethe was kind, his staff lacks compassion and empathy. I have a baby and had to take care of him because I can’t leave him by himself while my husband finished an important meeting. I will say while I was 5 min over the grace period (most places it’s 15 min and I errored and theirs is 10 min), I already e-checked in the night before. I sometimes have to wait at most 30-45 min to be seen and I had to reschedule because of 5 minutes. The front desk person seemed like they were on a mission to be a jerk. It’s June and now I can’t be seen until October.
