Made me wait well over an hour in an exam room. Finally walked out without seeing the doctor. When I called and spoke to the staff, Not apologetic or very helpful. The only reason she (office manager) responded to me or got back to me was because I called the patient advocate at Mercy. I find it comical that I received a letter from your office today concerning my appt on 2/26. It states I missed the appt and how disruptive that is the practice and unfair to other patients. But waiting over an hour for the Dr is not disruptive or unfair to me. I didn’t miss. I walked out.

First appt scheduled for 3/13. Was notified on 2/25 that an appt at 11:40 on 2/26 was available and if I wanted it. I agreed. Showed up for appt at 11:30 (Mercy in Glen Burnie). I was taken to the back waiting area there were no seats available so I had to stand in the hallway. At 12:10 I was taken back to the office and was told the Doctor would be right with me. I walked out at 12:30 without being seen. I asked for my co-pay back at the front desk. Was told no. Asked for the patient advocate number for Mercy. The person went to find it. After 10 minutes, I left as I had found the number on google. I have great experiences with Mercy Doctors. At least have someone come in and apologize for the wait. Maybe even have the front desk person apologize for the wait. Neither happened. Called the office to re-schedule with someone else. No one ever called back.

Idk how medically professionals can get away with such unprofessional standards. To start with it took 6 months to get an appointment for my teenage daughter which they would not give me the appointment until I had a referral sent over from our primary care dr so I did. So first appt which is 40 min drive from my home I get there n they tell me the dr isn't there today n they called n reschedule all of today's appts. No one called they have all my information email, phone- txt & vm n they took no accountability at all n tried to sift the blame on me. So I reschedule the appt which is now 3 months away n day before appt I call n double check before driving the distance n ask if everything was fine with my appt tomorrow n im told yes. I get to my daughter's 2nd first appt when they tell me the referral is expired n they wont see my daughter unless I can get a new referral sent over before the 15min grace period for my appointment time is up. Wow I mean is this really happening you are the ones tht demanded a referral before scheduling my appt knowing it was 6 months away then they screwed up first appt n didn't have decency to call to tell me they needed to reschedule n now they screwed up again with the referral mind u when I called the day before if they would have told me this I would of had it handled before I got there but anyway by the time i got a new referral sent over it had been 30 mins n would u believe they wouldn't see me n the final call came down to the dr n she is the one tht didnt see us she wanted me to reschedule for the 3rd time all fault of their own n they didnt care enough to even try to rectify the situation by at least seeing us after they screwed up n ive investment 9 months waiting for this appt while health conditions worsen they didnt even have the decency to apologize so save urself the headache n don't waste ur time with this unprofessional rude dr n her staff sorry excuse for so called professionals

Horrible experience! She was rushing me to get done with the appointment as quickly as possible. Barely saw my area of concern, then prescribed me medication and was on her way out. I tried asking my questions but it seem like I’m bothering her by trying to get more information. She was holding her phone which I found unprofessional. The front desk guy was also extremely rude. The medication that she prescribed made my condition worse! I waited 4 months for that, was rushed and my appointment lasted literally 5 minutes and then my condition got worse because of her. I would recommend to anyone to go elsewhere if they want actual help with a skin condition.

Dr. Baruch is a wonderful dermatologist. Other patients giving poor reviews because of support staff that are hired by Mercy and not her is ridiculous. She is so thorough when she examins and treats me. Plus she is very friendly and personable. For those patients that wish to do something about Mercy staff members in a Mercy office please complain to MERCY!!!!!!
