Do yourself a favor and read before coming here. This place has gave me one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. The assistant with braids is always dismissive and clearly uninterested in helping. This is clearly your job? I asked a basic question and got absolutely no explanation. No effort to educate, no clarification, nothing. The doctor rushes in and out of the room within 1-2 minutes, barely examines, and does not take the time to properly listen either wouldn’t be surprised with all that botox in her

I was referred to this office by my daughter’s pediatrician and, unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. After my daughter’s appointment, she was prescribed medication for her skin and scalp. When I went to the pharmacy, I found out that my insurance wouldn’t cover the prescriptions because the prescribing provider at this office is out of network. So what is the point of seeing patients and prescribing medications they can’t even obtain through their insurance? Every time I call, I’m told, “It will be fixed next month.” Well, it’s now next month, and nothing has changed. Meanwhile, patients are left paying out of pocket or going without the medications they need. To make matters worse, when I called to ask about the issue, the person who answered didn’t even acknowledge what I was saying. They simply transferred my call without a word. That level of customer service is rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Overall, this office feels rushed, communication is poor, and nothing is explained thoroughly. They have even asked me to come back into the office to discuss test results that had already been given to me over the phone, which felt like an unnecessary visit. It’s frustrating to be expected to pay for additional appointments while also being unable to use insurance for prescriptions because the office has not resolved its insurance credentialing issues. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I hope the office addresses these issues so that other families don’t have to go through the same thing.

Mrs. Smith was very thorough, attentive and professional. She carefully listened to my concerns, examined everything closely, explained the process clearly, and made me feel taken seriously instead of rushing through the appointment. I appreciated her patience, knowledge and compassionate care. I highly recommend.

We had a great experience at Dermatology Specialists of Atlanta. I brought my daughter in for an appointment, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was kind, professional, and welcoming. The provider was patient, gentle, and took time to make my daughter feel comfortable. As a parent, that means everything. They explained things clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure we understood the next steps. We never felt rushed. The office was clean, organized, and the appointment ran smoothly. I truly appreciated the level of care and compassion shown to my child. I would absolutely recommend this practice to other families looking for quality dermatology care.

My visit with Dr. Kathleen Smith on Friday, 12/05/2025 was Fantastic. Dr. Smith listened to me as I explained my situation to her. My situation was that I have a scar in the middle of my forehead that has been there since my childhood. It happened to me when I jumped off my porch and cut my forehead in the middle which left a scar. Dr. Smith listened carefully to all my concerns and expressed everything in a positive way that I could understand. I felt confident in her abilities. She seemed incredibly knowledgeable about my situation. I recommend Dr Smith to anyone that needs her services. I give Dr. Kathleen Smith a 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠+ RATING
