Amanda & Vivian were so wonderful. I felt very heard and it was so great to get answers and solutions right then at my first appointment. The PA-C Amanda Palazzola listened to me and explained things very clearly and answered any of the questions I had. Vivian took notes all during the appointment and they gave me a helpful sheet with all the information I needed at the end. Looking forward to my follow up appointment, I expect great results from this great team. I WISH I had come here sooner!!

Scheduling is easy, and appointments are usually available sooner rather than later. Plenty of parking (no cash/debit card only). The property is well maintained and Handicapped Friendly with a ramp at entrance The staff and Dr's are professional and friendly. Definitely recommend

Amanda Palazzola is a wonderful provider. She has helped both my husband and I. She is genuinely interested in providing the best treatment and explains every step of the process in a way that makes us feel comfortable. Highly recommend her and Dermatology Consultants.

I went in for a cancer screening and it was found to be melanoma. What dermotology consultants failed to mention is that they use an outside lab for the lidocaine and the testing (pathgroup) and on top of the excessive amount I had to pay for a biopsy that was "in-network" I received a statement for pathgroup that had nothing covered by my in-network insurance. So I was double billed for the biopsy and then again for the follow up removal surgery. I asked for an estimate in total going into the surgery. I was told it would be around $700 by the front desk girl. It was not. It was over $1700 out of pocket for dermotology consultants for the surgery (plus $313 for the intial office visit) and then $309 out of pocket for pathgroup initially for the biopsy and another $165 for the surgery...just for the lidocaine, again) so all in I was $2500 in for an in-network cancer screening and removal of a mole. Dealing with Pathgroup and their parent company has been a complete nightmare and headache. The entire staff at Dermatology Consultants was lovely from the Dr to the PA to the front desk staff and the tech, but I will not be returning. I will also tell anyone else thinking of using them as a cancer screen physcian to look elsewhere. You can tell upon arrival that they are more in the industry of cosmetic dermatology and not the cancer/skin disorder business. They clearly are missing some coding/billing training to help insurance work with people that are not there for botox or fillers.

Lovely staff and location. Melody in the aesthetics department took her time with me and did a facial skin to thoroughly talk through areas that need attention. The complimentary imaging humbled me lol but I am glad it did it. I also went in for a routine mole check and they were very thorough and kind despite being a naked slab of meat on the table. So grateful to have this practice in Decatur!
