This place is impossible to get an appointment and when you finally do they completely screw it up. I called to schedule a new patient appointment for the Decatur location back in August 2025, but they didn’t have any appointments until December 2025. Even though it was a long wait, it was reasonable for a popular place. So, I waited for 4 months to be seen. Then, the day before my appointment they texted saying I could no longer be seen due to the dermatologist I was supposed to see calling out. At this point I’m very frustrated, but luckily they offered an appointment to wait another two months until February 2025 😑. After explaining we can’t wait another two months to see someone they offered going to their John’s Creek location to see a PA in two days. Both options were not great, but I decided to drive all the way up to John’s Creek. The appointment went great and we were given the option to schedule our follow up appointment for the Decatur location in February 2026. Two months later I show up to my appointment in Decatur and they say there is no follow up appointment scheduled. So again, I’m very frustrated because we were given an appointment card and scheduled an appointment when I was seen at the John’s Creek location. So, once again I am rescheduled to another day. At this point, I’ve waited almost 6 months and have yet to see anyone at the Decatur location. While the second appointment mishap is not directly the Decatur locations fault, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the whole of Dermatology Associates of Georgia. I’ve been given a horrible impression on there numerous scheduling issues. I hope if and when I finally get an appointment this 6 month wait is worth it.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Washington for years. He is the best! Knowledgeable, caring, and takes the time to explain everything - truly a rare find in this world of corporate medicine. Our waits are minimal and the staff is very helpful.

I absolutely LOVE these people, I highly recommend them! I was a first time patient a few weeks ago, but I had to go back to have my stitches removed and results of a test. And both times I thought that the Dermatologist Associates of Georgia, especially Dr. Kimberly Sable, were extremely knowledgeable and had an answer for everything I inquired about without hesitation. I would recommend these people to everyone, especially to those who want to deal with people who actually care about the well being of their patients and are willing and want to go out of their way to make sure their patients receive the best care in an as timely manner as possible ..

My wife went to their John's Creek branch. Had to wait over an hour to see the doctor (despite their zero tolerance for late patients policy), then the doctor sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy (in another state, none the less). The pharmacy they sent it to doesn't do mail order. Sent them several messages in the patient portal and called several times to get it corrected. They never replied and never called back, even three weeks later. We had to go to another dermatologist to get the prescription again. $268 down the drain because without the medicine seeing the doctor is worthless. Please read the reviews for all the offices before you use this practice.

I hate to give negative reviews, but I feel like this feedback may help Dermatology Associates of Georgia improve their administrative service. The team means well, but imho they have a long way to go to achieve an acceptable level of service. In my case, they took weeks to return my request for an appointment. Then, after I had already booked an appointment, I received a call asking me if I wanted to book an appointment. They did not seem to be aware that I was already on their calendar. As a result of the confusion, I chose to cancel everything and go with another healthcare provider. When I called to cancel and I asked for an email to confirm they had actually canceled my appointment, I was told that was not possible. Best wishes to them as they work to improve.
