I decided to sign up for Cool Sculpting because I didn’t recognize my body anymore. Since going through a few sessions of Cool Sculpting, I have experienced amazing results that goes deeper than the look and appearance. I have noticed that I have more energy and I can walk faster and overall I feel better. This is an amazing byproduct of what I signed up for. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I also got a chance to get to know an amazing person named, Ragan Lake who was in charge of the procedure. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly with an amazing personality. Thank you Skin DC, the name I have been trusting since you opened.

I had an appointment with Dr. Sowash today and I am leaving feeling disappointed and not heard. I came in with some skin irritation/acne issues, and had printed out all of my current skincare products and their ingredients so that I could try and pin down the problem. Her assistant completely ignored my document, gave it a brief glance and said “good job” before dismissing it entirely. It was so derogatory. The doctor came in and did not even bother to look at my document, barely examined my skin, and quickly just prescribed a retinol. I tried asking follow up questions about a good SPF and a good moisturizer, but both her and her assistant just pointed me to a list of printed out recommendations. I told her that I had had trouble in the past due to my specific skin type and wanted specific recommendations for combination skin, but they were both very dismissive, and honestly a little rude and just told me I have to just figure it out on my own. This was not worth my time nor the $40 copay- an absolute waste. There was no care or kindness and I think that the appointment itself was probably about two minutes, if that. I feel like this, left me in the same place that I started – except more annoyed.

Had such a great first visit at SkinDC with Dr. Naga and Abby. I went in for melasma and left feeling really confident about the plan. Dr. Naga was honest and realistic about what’s possible, which I really appreciated, and I never felt rushed or pressured. She also shared a longer-term anti-aging plan that feels flexible and doable over time, with different options to consider. Abby was amazing—so kind, answered all my questions, walked me through everything, and even followed up afterward. The front desk was also very welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall just a really positive experience and an excellent first impression.

After 3 sessions of AviClear with Mikaela, I can confidently say that I love both my results and experience. My active acne has significantly reduced and my overall skin texture has improved (my Visia results can confirm). While the results have been amazing, my experience with Mikaela stands out the most as she's made my visits something to look forward to each time. She is skilled, personable and knowledgable. She takes great care of me and I couldn't recommend her enough!

Dr.Stovall is the absolute best! She addressed all of my concerns quickly, thoroughly and without judgment. I felt really comfortable in her care- she has a very warm bedside manner. I highly recommend her and won’t see anyone else!
