I received excellent care during my first visit with Dr. Ma.I had several skin lesions that were treated; one was biopsied. The procedures were pain free, because anesthetic was injected. All was skillfully performed. Dr. Ma's nurse assured me she would call if the pathology results indicated further action was needed.I received a follow up call due to the biopsy being positive. I'm already scheduled for another procedure in January of 2026. I am very happy with the communication and care I received. Thank you, Dr. Ma and staff!

My first visit to the clinic was very successful. I received excellent medical treatment promptly. I recommend the Dermatology Clinic.

Everyone was super friendly, from the valet parking to the building reception to the waiting room to the Doctor. The office is really nice, I barely waited, and the Doctor really knew her stuff and took good care of me. I never review anything and no one asked me to - but I feel compelled, because the one-star review is so unfair. This was probably the most pleasant medical office visit I have ever had - I would recommend it to anyone.

Absurdly long wait time for an appointment like the other reviews. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Why the one star and probably should avoid? Well a 15 minute consultation/new patient appointment with insurance... 661$. Ask for the actual charge before making the appointment if you can. In my case I was pending on my insurance for the coverage, but guess that's on me for thinking it would be less and booking anyways.

I would avoid this office based on my experience. I waited 3 months for an appointment. On the day of my appointment I called 10 minutes before I was to be seen to notify the office I would be 3-5 minutes late due to terrible traffic on the freeway near their Emeryville location. Sadly they cancelled my appointment and said I would have to wait another 2 1/2 months to be seen. No thank you. There are plenty of doctors elsewhere. I’m just disappointed I didn’t seek an alternative earlier.
