Gives blanket advice without reviewing your skin type and offers an amazon shopping list to buy soaps and probiotics for acne. Prescribed really strong psoriasis medication (Soriatane) for acne, which upon further research is never a recommendation by other doctors. Was also mildly racist towards me.

Dr. Bloom is hands-down the best dermatologist I’ve ever seen. I was dealing with a mix of skin issues—pityriasis rosea, eczema, and more—and after going to three different dermatologists, I still had no answers. It was frustrating, to say the least. From my very first appointment with Dr. Bloom, everything started to turn around. He immediately identified the right diagnosis and got me started on a treatment plan that actually worked. My insurance didn’t cover one of the medications, but Dr. Bloom went above and beyond to help me access it through a connection he has with the pharmaceutical rep. On top of that, he suggested some holistic options, like supplements I could easily find on Amazon, which was a nice bonus. He saw me regularly, followed up to check on my progress, and genuinely cared about how I was doing. After years of misdiagnoses and suffering, I’m now almost completely symptom-free—and it’s all thanks to Dr. Bloom’s expertise and dedication. If you’re looking for a dermatologist who knows their stuff and actually cares about their patients, I can’t recommend him enough!
