Not only do you have an exceptionally high level of professionalism, but you also show remarkable kindness, patience, and responsibility. This is truly one of the warmest, most professional, and most reassuring dermatology clinics I have ever encountered. From the scheduling process and front desk reception to the doctor’s consultation and every staff member’s assistance, every detail made me feel genuinely respected and cared for. Your professionalism, thoughtful communication, and sincere compassion toward patients deeply touched me. As an international student living far from home, meeting such an outstanding and caring medical team has been both a comfort and a blessing to me. You are not only treating skin conditions — you are also giving patients confidence, hope, and a sense of security. First, there are unhoused individuals with lots of trash outside the building - which I understand is hard to control so I don’t fault the business for that. When I came in for my appointment, I went to the floor they told me to go to. I even texted to confirm I was there as instructed. When I got to that floor, it appeared that the business was closed. No one was at the front desk, lights were not on. I waited around for awhile because I figured someone would be with me shortly. Two additional patients came into the waiting room, and we then went to the next floor up to see if anyone was there after waiting 30 minutes. It turns out the entire time we were supposed to check in on a different floor. I believe the other floor is for their aesthetic Derm practice which seems to be properly staffed. Then, they took the patients back who had arrived after me. I then had my appointment which was fine. I was told to come back in 1 month for biopsies. Keep in mind that there are no doctors - you will see a PA - which was also fine by me, I just wish it was more clear. Make sure you point out the lesions you are concerned about as the check is relatively quick. I went to the front desk and made my appointment for 1 month later as instructed. I had specifically taken off work for the appointment which is difficult for me to do. The day before my biopsy appointment, they called me and left a voicemail and gave less than 24 hour notice that the PA I scheduled with no longer works on Fridays so I have to reschedule. I tried calling back with the number they gave and the person who answered told me to call a different number that was closed for the day. I texted the Klara app and the person who responded had no knowledge of the fact that my appointment was cancelled, just that I can make an appointment for 3 weeks from now. It’s extremely unprofessional to cancel the day before someone’s appointment, especially when someone has arranged time off of work. Now I have to take additional time off which may not be possible. It also seems that the staff and systems in the office are not communicating properly at all. Now I am unable to get potential skin cancer biopsied for another month.

🩷 This place! I have hunted high & low for a dermatologist who listens & actively tries to solve things from a holistic view, plus has the staff and experience to back it up. Andy has been my doc for two years now and I tried 3-4 derm offices in LA before. I’m now seeing Nadia more (just cause of availability) and from our first meeting she understood where I was coming from & actively listened to my concerns and experience with past treatments. The doctors are always willing to try new treatments that fight blemishes and skin issues at the root. I used to have terrible, terrible acne, and the scars are finally fading away because the chemical peels and treatments they offer during each appointment. I am so grateful to know and be treated so well by both the PAs and MAs on staff, plus my favs who run the office. I have a long list of shout outs I’ve been holding onto for a while now so get ready- first Andy, he’s kind, generous with his time and is a great listener. I’ve seen him cover a bill for a client who needed immediate treatment while traveling from Europe and I’ve heard it’s not the first time he’s donated time and resources to people and causes that are in need. He’s simply a wonderful, caring person and I always lucky to see him. I have board him with countless questions, cracking the code of lies th internet spews. He’s a great guy to chat with about your skins happiness. If you preferred to speak with a woman doc, Nadia is amazing. She’s energetic, attentive, a straight shooter and empathetic to boot. She was really nice to talk to especially in relation to hormones affecting the skin. I also hear great things about Gabriela! Leon, 85, I just met in the waiting room, says he comes here to stay looking as young as he feels - and he really does look great! Okay my classic favs, Matthew - always an absolute joy to see. He manages the office and has gone out of his way for me (not only to answer questions but make sure I’m paired with the right doctor for my schedule, explaining billing, appointments, procedures, offers, anything you would want clarity on! And Matt does so clearly, calmly, and concisely. I don’t know how he does it, but he manages hundreds of clients with a personal touch to help everyone with what they need. I hope they recognize he’s such a hard worker and really takes care of the clients! Matthew really makes coming to this office feel like you’re always entering a place where you’re known and welcomed. I can hear the cheers soundtrack playing in the background Once the elevator door opens. Shout out to Jared who apparently is no longer here RIP but I hope he’s onto his next great adventure. Also, honorable mentions (who I promised pimple puns in the version of compliments on this review ) to Nina - the pop star of the office and Marie, she puts the soul in solutions made for skin! Oh and Ally and Grace - they’re new but love them already- sweet and friendly! Even if you don’t get to see these friendly faces, know that they hire kind people who are willing to listen and really take the time and energy to take your concern seriously. Sometimes it’s hard to feel that way in doctors offices in general, but they add a level of thoughtfulness to their professionalism that I truly trust whoever I’m gonna interact with, every time I go. I love being able to know that my time, money, energy and vulnerability is not just being wasted in place where I’m not gonna be cared for the way that I feel like I’ve had to fight for in the past. I really appreciate y’all and can’t wait to see you next time! PS shout out to the team for the TIMES when I needed to come in for an appointment and they made room on the busy schedule for me! AND s/o for making every waiting room experience, relaxing, enjoyable, and quick. I am very appreciative of the complementary coffee and tea anddd getting to meet other clients who love it here :) i’ve met a lot of people who come here for various reasons and have kept coming back for years because of the success in the treatments and products!

Really good experience- I accidentally came in a day early for my appointment and they were able to place me with another doctor as a walk in immediately. Very sweet friendly staff and a thorough, considerate doctor that did my skin check. Really appreciate finishing a good dermatologist so soon after moving to la!

If you’re looking for a clinic that thrives on confusion, mixed messages, and charging you for things you didn’t actually need, congratulations — you’ve found it. For everyone else: don’t walk. Run. Before my appointment, I asked a very simple, modern-world question: “Can you just send my test results through Klara or HealthGlow, the exact way every other doctor I’ve ever had does it?” Instead of an honest answer, I got put on hold and then told that the doctor needed to go over my results plus other things. That phrasing alone made it sound like something urgent or substantial would be discussed. Spoiler: during the actual FaceTime, the doctor in one sentenced said “youre negative (no growth was found from the swab) which could’ve absolutely been sent through the app in under five seconds. There were no “other things.” No urgent discussions. No extra concerns. Nothing that justified forcing an appointment I explicitly said I didn’t need. When I questioned the situation, the office responded with a polished little paragraph about how my $85 co-pay was “required by my insurance” and that “any discussion of results counts as a formal consultation.” Cute. Corporate. And perfectly designed to deflect accountability for what felt like blatant misrepresentation from the staff. I was scammed and swindled. For context: all my previous specialists — dermatologists, primary care, even urgent care — have always sent results directly through the app, including positives, and simply issued the prescription. No mandatory appointment. No invented “other things.” To gether co-pay. So yes, the whole situation felt like I was nudged into an appointment under false pretenses. Not a great look for a medical office. If this is how they operate - hiding behind scripted insurance jargon to justify unnecessary visits - it really makes you wonder what their priorities are. Spoiler: it doesn’t feel like patient care. If transparency, honesty, and basic respect for your time matter to you, there are dozens of clinics nearby that won’t make you jump through hoops just to squeeze a co-pay out of you. And those “good reviews”? Only from people who were misled and given useless freebies to keep quiet. This place? Hard pass.
