We have been patient of Dr. Effron for over 15 years. Since selling her practice to Platinum, the service has gone downhill in a basket. If you schedule an appointment, be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes before you’re seen. This has happened on multiple occasions. Management insists that they book at least four patients per hour yet it takes more than 15 minutes to actually get a decent exam. Dr. Effron is thorough but if you don’t have the luxury of waiting around I recommend going somewhere else.

We have been patients of Dr. Cheryl Effron and Cosmetic Dermatology of Orange County for many years, and our entire family has trusted her with our care. Dr. Effron isn’t just our dermatologist, she’s a close family friend who has always gone above and beyond to make sure we stay healthy. She is thorough, compassionate, and genuinely invested in her patients’ well‑being. Her staff is equally wonderful. Everyone is friendly, patient, and consistently treats us with kindness. Whether it’s a routine visit or something more complicated, we always feel well cared for and supported. We are grateful for Dr. Effron and her entire team and couldn’t recommend Cosmetic Dermatology of Orange County more highly.

This is a great place and Lindsey Carmack is very knowledgeable and so nice! She has helped my daughter with her skin conditions and we love coming here. We used to go to the Huntington Beach location but it closed and we are still willing to make the drive to Anaheim Hills to continue seeing her.

Lindsay Carmack, PAC is very thorough with her examination. I was impressed with how she found places on my skin that needed to be treated. I felt comfortable in her presence. She's very knowledgeable about her field. She answered any questions or concerns I had and did not rush through the exam. The staff are friendly. The office is clean and neat. The check-in questioneer is lengthy. Lots of questions. It seems all the doctor's offices are asking way too many questions and some of the questions don't seem relevant to the doctor visit. The check in questioneer was the only part of the visit that I was a bit negative about. The examination and staff are excellent.

I’ve been going to Dr. Effron for a couple of years on the recommendation of my daughter. She’s done several procedures on me. I find her compassionate, very intelligent, thorough and I enjoy seeing her every time visit. Sadly, she was forced to close her Huntington Beach office, and at my age the drive to Anaheim Hills is quite a chore. I will, however, continue to go to her as long as I can handle the drive. She’s worth it!
