I had previously utilized this office and was very satisfied with the care, so when I had another dermatological issue, I decided to return. I wasn’t really aware of the complete change in staffing & doctors until I was there. For a few months I have had a small lump, of sorts, on my nose. At that time, there was also a pimple on it making it appear even larger so I wanted to just get it checked out to ensure that there was nothing serious happening with the lump. While I was there, I wanted to have a couple of other bumps on my face looked at which I was fairly certain were small cysts. I was seen by who I believe may have been a PA. She touched my nose and then used a small tool to get a closer look at it and she just kept saying that she doesn’t see anything because of the pimple. I asked what my next step should be, and she said she didn’t know because she can’t see anything other than the pimple. I asked if I should come back after the pimple clears up, and she told me I could if I want to. With the way she replied I wasn’t sure if she thought that was a good idea or a bad idea or what her professional opinion was. If you can’t see what’s going on now, shouldn’t I come back when the pimple is cleared up? It was very frustrating, as I feel like she was just blowing me off like it was nothing. I had to ask again if I should come back to get this looked at after the pimple is gone, and again all I got was that I can if I want to, but she doesn’t see anything. My inner monologue was still thinking, ok, well, how do we know what’s there under the pimple if you can’t definitively identify the lump and you’re 100% wishy-washy on next steps? I also had her look at the two smaller bumps on my cheek, which as I mentioned, I knew we’re probably cysts however I wanted to be sure. She confirmed that they were, and then offered no further information. I asked if there’s something I should do about them or if they could be excised, etc., which seems like a fairly easy and quick process. And she replied, just saying they can cauterize them, which is something I’ve personally never heard of doing for a small cyst. She left it at that and gave me no information whatsoever on what the process would be. I had to ask if she was saying they could do that today or another day? What does it leave my face looking like? Is there an open wound? Healing time? What is the process? Is this the only option? What are you telling me? I don’t understand. I got very little information in return. So basically, I went to get some things looked at, and I left with a “professional” opinion that had absolutely no definitive guidance, and essentially left it at “whatever”.

Amy was amazing. The staff were horrible took way to long to check in. They could barely answer any questions asked and we're not friendly no smiles blank. Bad experience

It would have been nice to have been told to come in half an hour early to fill out forms as it took at least that long to fill them out. The PA Kaylee was very nice and helpful.

Full skin check & biopsy done 11/11. I assumed I was seeing a dermatologist, but the PA was nice enough. A phone message was left for me over two weeks later. I called back that day & every day after that & only got "your call cannot be answered". Finally, they called me back on 12/3, told me I have skin cancer. I have not seen the actual lab report. The caller said they would contact my insurance for a specific treatment to see if it was covered & have never heard back. I don't know if this place is legit or just a fly by night. They don't use their patient portal & phone calls are not answered. No urgency even after they give you the diagnosis of skin cancer.

I had Amy the PA-C for my appointment, and she was amazing. She listened to my concerns and was able to address them quickly and provided a solution. The office staff were friendly and helpful as well.
